beautiful small hotel in Cretan village

it's a small, gorgeous place. spaciousrooms with balcony and sea view. excellent restaurant on the terrace underneath the rooms. we enjoyed the fine dining atmosphere and the good service. also the breakfast was the best we had in Crete so far.

Such an amazing hotel. Cute, quiet, quaint and very clean. Such an incredible value for the price of the hotel. Great location close to Balos lagoon and not far drive from Elafonssi! Would highly recommend.

Chambre très calme. Attention toutefois aux aboiements de quelques chiens du voisinage. L'accueil est très gentil et le petit déjeuné, un peu cher par rapport au prix de la chambre (mais on a constaté ça un peu partout en Créte) est préparé avec beaucoup de soin. Très belle vue.

Charming hotel in good location

Perfect location for Balos beach, although you definitely need a car to get here. Place is charming, with all the basics for a comfortable stay. We had breakfast there once, which was good. There’s not much ro do in the town itself, but you do have a couple of good dining options.

Gute Lage um Balos und Elafonisi zu erkunden

Wir wurden sehr freundlich im Hotel empfangen. Der Inhaber gab sich große Mühe uns den Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich zu machen. Wie wir nach dem einchecken erfuhren, war das Restaurant während unseres gesamten Aufenthalts noch nicht geöffnet. Das war ärgerlich, da dies mit ein Grund war, warum wir uns für dieses Hotel entschieden hatten. Auf der Homepage des Restaurants fanden einen Hinweis, dass das Restaurant Ende Mai aufmacht (Definitionssache, denn wir waren Ende Mai da). Wir hätten uns hier einen konkreteren Hinweis gewünscht. Zum Glück gab es wenige Meter weiter (max. 2 Min zu Fuß) ein wirklich sehr gutes Restaurant mit netter Terrasse und sehr gutem Essen (Gramvousa in Kaliviani). Dort waren wir gleich mehrmals. Das Zimmer selbst war einfach, komfortabel würden wir es nicht nennen, aber in Ordnung. Das Bad war sehr dunkel und auch einfach. Obwohl das Hotel ruhig gelegen ist, war es nicht möglich nachts das Fenster auf zu lassen, da in der Nachbarschaft rund um die Uhr lautes Hundegebell zu hören war. Das war selbst für uns als Tierfreunde sehr störendund echt nervig. Das Frühstück wurde täglich mit viel Liebe zubereitet und sehr zügig serviert. Auf Lebensmittelunverträglichkeiten nahm man sofort rücksicht. Wer eine Unterkunft sucht um Balos, Elafonisi oder Falasarna zu erkundigen, ist von der Lage her in dieser Unterkunft gut aufgehoben. Die Unterkunft liegt praktisch an der Strasse nach Balos (10 km). Nach Elafonisi fährt man ca. 1.15 Std. Nach Falasarna 15 min.

Nice guest house

gorgeous views, very nice spacious room, decent bed and very good shower. restaurants, bar and cafe a short walk away only let down is WiFi. Email is fine but forget downloads or streaming. owner is great, really friendly cannot recommend enough.

Wunderschönes Hotel in ruhiger Lage

Das Hotel hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Wir waren in der Nebensaison dort, was sehr zu empfehlen ist. Das familienbetriebene Hotel ist sauber, ruhig und hatte allen Komfort den man braucht.

Ruhiges Hotel fernab vom Ferienrummel

Ein ruhiges kleines Hotel in einem kleinen Dorf ca. 10 Km von Kissamos entfernt. Es gibt nur 5 Zimmer, die jedoch sehr geräumig sind, einen Balkon mit faszinierender Aussicht auf die Rhodopou Halbinsel haben. Die Einrichtung ist einfach aber es gibt AC, Satelliten-TV und kostenloses WiFi, das aber nicht allzu schnell ist. Die Lage in dem kleinen Dorf ist sehr ruhig. Allerdings gibt es keine touristischen Angebote. Man muß ein Fahrzeug haben. Man kann auf der großen Terasse Frühstücken und den Blick über die Bucht genießen. Zudem werden morgens Schafe durch das Dorf getrieben, die man sich anschauen kann. Alles sehr ländlich. Das Hotel wird von einer familie betriebn, die Englisch spricht und sehr freundlich ist. Es ist eine Bar und ein Restaurant angegliedert, welches zur zeit unseres Besuches (Oktober) schon geschlossen war. Das Hotel ist ein guter Standort, die Westküste Kretas zu erkunden.
