"The Murray Inn is actually a motel. It's decor is 70s art deco. The rooms and bathrooms are small. The staff I encountered was new and had little information. There is no breakfast. Coffee maker in room if you want caffeine is available but not recommended in my opinion. The door has a shade that doesn't keep the outside lights, which are bright, out at night if you're expecting darkness. The showerhead dribbled and the size of the shower is about 4x4 ft. The curtain doesn't hold water in the tub area. The toilet has a flapper. Our flapper was finicky and the toilet leaked if it wasn't wiggled after filled. On the positive side it cost slightly less than most other options. I was recommended this place by someone who was going to stay there at the same time but her phone reservation was input incorrectly (the new owners/staff are near East Asian) and they charged her a stay for the days she requested but a month earlier before the stay and then didn't have a room available. Didn't even try to refund her for their mistake and without a phone recording impossible to prove. The Quality Inn room she had to get instead was a major upgrade."

"We were only staying one night. We were switched from a King to 2 Queens. Then something on the motor of the heater/AC wasn't right and the fan ran extremely loudly whenever running. We had to turn off the unit,because it was so loud. We did report it and they fix it for the next person. Also, we stayed there because usually things are great, but we were there a few weeks ago and the price with taxes/fees was $153. This time it was $294. I know prices go up during graduation, but we weren't even there for graduation. That type of increase is ridiculous!!!!!"

"I paid for the business suite since I was there on business. We checked in, got the room key, walked in to a regular king room NOT the business suite. I went back up to the desk and asked about the room and was told that the business suites were not available. Did I mention I had already paid for the business suite? The gentleman was very apologetic and said he would reach out to the manager and was told to deal with hotels.com. I reached out them and they tried to contact the hotel manager and he refused to give me back the difference between the 2 rooms. So I ended up paying for a business suite and only got a king room. It was like a $40 difference. The phone in the room did not even work when the front desk tried to call us."
