The Inn at 6 was an amazing home and place to be during my short stay in Jamaica. The hosts were amazing people, friendly and very helpful with information. The area was safe, quiet and serene part of Kingston with a great view of the beautiful Jamaican scenic nature. I loved it and would stay at Inn at 6 again during my next visit to Jamaica.
Nice and peaceful ambience, however neither sheets nor towels were ever changed during my entire stay. No contact person was ever communicated to me but I was approached by a lady by the name of Carol.
I went to Jamaica to assist my son with his exams. Both him and his mother are in school there. They visited a few times and it was more convenient for us to study there.
Carol approached me and informed that I will have to pay her US$25.00 for each night she came. I paid her reluctantly as Expedia never informed me of this nor did I know Carol as an agent .

Listing says "A complimentary continental breakfast is served each morning between 6 AM and 10 AM", however it is not served, not even prepared. You can make instant coffee, or toast (the butter tub full of bits of food), IF, you clean up, wash the dishes and put them away. I commented on a rack of not-clean dishes, the staff (Carol) blamed the other guest (paying customer), yet two days after the other guest had left, they still had not been cleaned and put away, nor the dirty cutlery in the sink.
The lamp in the room was faulty, staff immediately said they would bring a new one the next day, I thanked her and said it would be really be appreciated. It was never done... nor where any of the other verbal commitments made.
Carol complains about lights on or doors unlocked, even sending me an email blaming me for what another guest did! Yet ever-present as she is, it is not to clean or make good on commitments, more to complain, speak of God, or vent on American laws; never just do her job and clean.
"Check-out time is 11 AM" but I was emailed to insist that I checkout before 10am. Long before I was due to checkout, Carol came asking for feedback, I tried to give it but she interrupted to blame the last guest, when I said she (the last guest) left two days ago, you have to take some responsibility, she became irate, snatched the keys and slammed the door.
100's of hotel stays, this is the worst. Terms of the listing are not met, Worse, it's just not a peaceful place to be.

The property was well kept and clean. The location was Ideal for us and the other guests were friendly. we got the best ice cream around the corner too. I was very pleased with everything.

This would be a wonderful hostel. The room was very clean and pleasing. However, the advertisement for the room should make it clear that bathroom facilities are shared. Further, there is an impression that continental breakfast is served. This was not my experience. You got down to a kitchen, open a fridge and take out a couple slices of bread and toast them. Fruits were mangoes, papayas and ripe bananas that were overripe and very unattractive. The hostess was quite professional but the place is generally deserted. So if you want a place to stay where at least there is a member of staff available, this is not the place.
Our Experience At The Inn At 6 Was Amazing . The Environment Was Very Quiet And It Was Convenient To The Supermarkets And Mall . My Partner And I Had A Little Setback On Our Check-in Time But Mrs P Was Understanding Of Our Situation. The Room Was Spacious , Comfortable And Tons Of Storage Space. Overall The Entire House Was Amazing !!
Amazing is all I have to say this was my first flight and vacation. This bed and breakfast was beautiful clean staff was great friendly helpful. May faith and heart took me there and I t was everything I imagined and the some. I encourage anyone going to Kingston to stay here. Thanks Carol you really know hospitality thanks.
Nightmare with no receptionist and no security, you have to open four doors plus security alarm before you can get to your room all manually. The guess house is not equipped for holiday makers over three days. I was to spend 14 nights but had to cut it short and leave after 9 nights. The owner was arguing with me about doors left opened, alarm going off, having guess coming to visit you, she locking visitors bathroom door, waiting up in the night at 2:15am and started telling me off for waiting on the driver to leave before locking the gate. Junior room had no storage for small things, used mouthwash and off used show wash and no place for toiletry and no sanitary bin. As for breakfast leftovers fruit 6 days old bread, milk mate and fruit juices in boxes for days, nothing is freshly made. I was told by the owner to turned the air conditioning off because she cannot afford to pay the light bill. The guess house could be better if the owner was not living on site. I was very uncomfortable and unhappy with the way she behaved. I’ll not return are recommend it to anyone sorry.
This hotel is very nice especially the luxury suite, it has its own balcony n a Jacuzzi for your comfort. I would definitely recommend this place to any one. It’s also very close to the Liguanae Plaza one of the most upscale plaza in Kingston.
I have never stayed at a bed and breakfast or smaller facility, but I have always wanted to do so. My stay at the Inn was perfect. Facilities were 5 star and service was very personal, without being intrusive. The grounds and ambiance of the hotel were beautiful. It was like home. I will definitely be recommending this to my friends and colleagues, especially for those who have to visit the US Embassy, which is a two minutes drive away.
