Amber Cottage 3 Bed , In Snettisham, North Norfolk dogs welcome
A spacious 3 bedroom Victorian cottage situated within the quaint village of Snettisham. The cottage provides the home from home feel and is extremely well equipped. Snettisham provides everything you may need, there are two pubs, The Queen Victoria and The Rose and Crown, The Rose and crown is particually good for food and has a lovely beer garden. There is also a Bistro The Old Bank, you will need to book in advance, and also a breakfast/lunch/brunch place called The Old Store, they also sell home made bread and great cakes and pastries. We have a CoOp that has great opening hours and a great selection of last minute food and drink including fresh bread. At the other end of the road where Station road turns into Beach road is the Granary, great for breakfasts, lunches, homemade cakes , scones and Quiches etc If you enjoy antiques upstairs at the granary is a treasure trove of goodies, there are also a few shops opposite the Granary. If wildlife and nature are your thing there is a wildlife park in the village where you can bottle feed lamb, have pony rides, and go on their famous Deer safari, of course we have Ken Hill too and a RSPB nature reserve. Snettisham and Hunstanton are the gateway to the North Norfolk coast line, the beaches are all fabulous. One of our favorites is Old Hunstanton for it's beach, handy toilets and Old Hunstaton Beach cafe serving loads of freshly cooked breakfasts and lunches, the is also La Strange barns there which is great for a great variety of art and crafts for sale. The cottage feedback in our visitors book describes the cottage as being bigger than you think and very well equiped. We have added extra refrigerator space too with the addition of a counter top fridge. Full central heating and an open fire in the lounge ensures the cottage is suitable all year round and as well as romantic breaks, we are child and dog friendly for all types of dogs. We provide, to make your stay as relaxed as possible, towels, a high chair, a travel cot and stair gate, all bedding, and basic cleaning essentials such as dishwasher tablets and dish cloths and tea towels. We also provide the use of windbreaks for the beach, chairs and some sand toys. You will find tea bags and sugar, salt and pepper to save you the worry of packing those little bits and bobs.

Lovely spacious house with a comfortable homely feel. Nicely furnished and a well-equipped very useable kitchen. Clean and with ample heating and hot water. Good local shop and some excellent cafe/pub/restaurant options within easy walking distance. Would definitely return here.
Lovely sized property with everything you could need for your stay. We were out most days and location was perfect for beaches and attractions.
Comfy beds and enough room to not be on top of one another.
Pretty, characterful cottage in the perfect location
Cottage was full of character in a pretty location. Kitchen had everything we needed, beds were comfortable, parking right outside, nice garden, very dog friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend.
Cottage was as described, perfect for our long family weekend near great beaches to go for dog walks. Cottage really well equipped including small things like washing up liquid+cloth+brush, dishwasher tablets, tea towels.
The cottage was in a great location in the pretty village of Snettisham. We were only there for the weekend but would have loved to have stayed longer in the comfortable cottage and there’s lots to see in this corner of Norfolk.
We very much enjoyed our stay. We have plenty of space for us and our four children. The cottage was very comfortable. The bathrooms were very nice and the garden was just so adorable. We highly recommend.
We had a lovely stay in this well-equipped cottage. It is in a great location for visiting Sandringham and the beaches of the Norfolk coast. We had our dog with us and having an enclosed garden was a bonus.
Cottage has plenty of room for comfort, easy walk into town and local pubs. I would highly recommend The Rose and Crown for meals.
All equipment you need is provided although we didn’t cook at all.
Parking was a little tight but my car is a large vehicle.
We have now stayed at Amber Cottage for three years running - love the new settee and chairs!
Ideal location for Hunstanton beach and for all local dog walks just love the area always find something new when we return
Great property. Lovely size kitchen. Extremely comfortable. Everything you could want here. Only 2 hours for us to get there. We will be back.
Thank you Sally 🤗
A lovely cottage. Lot's of space. Back garden great for dog. Carparking tight. But of a bottle neck on rd outside house.
Towels provided, tea towels would have been nice addition. A little earlier for check in and later for check out would be helpful. Despite above aall good and would stay again. Very cosy.

Good
Very clean and comfortable. Our only problem was parking. The neighbours parked outside their own houses but didn't lleave enough space for us to park. But the property itself was very good.
Overall cottage was very pleasantly decorated but no mention in listing that bathroom/toilets were downstairs. Microwave was very rusty inside and top of it needed a good wipe over. Oven was dirty and freezer compartment of main fridge badly needed defrosting.cobwebs and dust on wall behind headboard and side table and dust in several places. If it had been summer you would have been able to get down garden because of tree overhanging the path. It would have been very difficult even for a good walker to have got to the Rose & Crown pub in 6 mins as stated in your info.

Beach break
On arrival we realised how busy the road was and how tight parking outside the property is, there is some extra parking down a near by side road which helped as there were two cars to accommodate.
When we entered the property is surprisingly spacious but in need of a good deep clean because of the hoards of spiders everywhere. The front bedroom badly needs a new bed and a carpet also some blinds in the summer would be an excellent idea. The kitchen was nice and usable and the back garden was a nice place to sit while having a morning coffee, near by shops are lovely and the chip shop by the beach was amazing. Overall not a bad stay just needs a few basic things sorting out.
Lovely property, good location and facilities. Only downside was that the guest before us broke one of the toilets which meant it was a bit of a trek in the night if you needed the toilet.
A lovely well equipped house. It was cosy and everything that we needed. It was a good base for our trips out with our dog. We really enjoyed it and would stay again.
