One night stay

Great stay. Kids loved the pool area. Hotel accommodated us with the rooms neighboring each other. The casino has slot machines where drinks can be ordered now which is awesome.

Had a blast, but....

Staff was friendly, price was fantastic, room was big and clean. A/C was old and super noisy and the bed didn’t have a comforter, so it made for a bad nights sleep for us. Casino is great. Best luck on slots we’ve ever had in Louisiana. Walk from the hotel is easy and they even have a free shuttle if you don’t want to walk it. You can’t beat the room price! But, bedding and a/c could use some updating!

Duped...

When I booked the rooms I asked twice if this was inside the casino and was told yes... in the info for the Inn, it claimed to have 2 restaurants, and 4 bars and lounges which it did not have. I booked these rooms months ago before Thanksgiving...

OK as close proximity to casino.

This hotel was not as described in your ad. The hotel is old with limited conveniences. No help with luggage or parking considering we are elderly. We had a problem with a bad leak in the bathroom and no room straightening service on 2nd day as offered. No restaurant nor local place to buy food (except vending machine). There was good shuttle transportation to and from casino which ran on a timely schedule. There were restaurants in a nearby hotel and at the casino. No other restaurants anywhere in the surrounding area.

Was really glad to have been able to check in early. After traveling all nite it was a blessing. Enjoyed our stay, had a blast and was so convenient with closeness to casino!! Book now, you will not be disappointed!

Very good value. We are accustomed to getting Casino rooms free but we don't play there, so paying so little for such a nice room is a no-brainer. We'd have paid more staying at a substandard motel. We will be back!

Great stay

Had a great stay at this hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful. There was coffee in the room, and it was a short walk to the casino. Also had a shuttle. Pool next door. Room was comfortable and clean. There was no breakfast, and it would have been nice if they had fruit and muffins for sale at the front desk, but oh well. We could have gone next door to the casino for breakfast.

The lady who I spoke too lied to me. She said they didn't have any space available on the golf course. and when I drove over to the course, they didn't have anyone making the turn and quite a few holes were vacant. I watched for quite a few minutes, and it was around 2:45 on a Monday afternoon when this happened. But I did rate this trip good, becaused everything else went well.

Accommodations were close to the Casino.

The Inn was ok for the price but not what we were expecting. When booking our reservations, we thought we were booking the Grand Hotel not the Inn, which is a Motel. We only stayed one night so it was ok. Be careful when booking through Expedia to make sure you know what you're getting as you cannot change your reservations & are stuck.

Cancelled reservation

When I arrived to check in the clerk told me my reservation had been cancelled by Expedia, but assured me she would find me a room which she did for a fourth of the price that was initially quoted. Shortly thereafter, I saw on my credit card app that I had been charged by expedia and the hotel. The clerk suggested that I call expedia and get this straightened out. I called expedia and after investigating, the clerk credited my expedia charge so all turned out well.

Noisy...unimpressed

The front desk clerk who checked me in was very polite, however, in the process of checking in I had an issue with the day shift manager. She was trying to charge me for a room that was already paid for through Expedia. Her attitude became very rude and unpleasant because she did not comprehend that I did not owe anything except for the deposit. Instead of arguing with her I immediately called the Expedia Gold member customer service, and my issue was taken care of expeditiously by the phone rep. No complimentary upgrade was offered by the front desk, nor any other perks associated with my Expedia elite status. The room was subpar, and the a/c unit had mold on it and smelled really badly. The bathroom was clean, but nothing spectacular about it. In the middle of the night you can hear doors shutting very loudly, so if you are looking for a good nights sleep it is not possible. The convenience of the 24/hr casino shuttle to and from the hotel was a plus. The lobby was decorated nicely, but that is about it for the compliments.

Went with family and had a nice visit Was able to go downstairs and walk over to the gambling area and also to get something to eat. Really liked the food at the Terrace cafe. The only thing not good was the smell of too much smoke in the gambling area. We played in the nonsmoking area. But the hotel was great.

Overall A Nice Stay

Front Desk Staff Went Above And Beyond To Accommodate Our Needs. Only complaint is NO COFFEE IN ROOM OR LOBBY. You have to walk to the Casino for complimentary coffee in little cups with no lids. By the time you walk back to the hotel you've spilt some of the coffee.
