One of the most basic motels in Killington - but also one of the most reasonable. We ended up here due to a trip being planned last-minute. The motel is old and worn but clean. Front desk staff was extremely friendly. Fantastic shower pressure a big plus!

Great stay after the solar eclipse

Stopped here after the solar eclipse to go snowboarding. Arrived at 7pm, check-in was fastest I've seen anywhere and friendly. Parked by the office, room was right above. For the location right on Killington Road, you can't beat this for the price.

I was concerned about the happy bear motel because of the 2 star rating, however i was very pleasantly surprised. Would absolutely stay here again. Very clean friendly office staff and very conveniently located. Just needs updating with decor. Best sleeep I've had in quiet sometime.

Excellent location and price. However, motel is filthy and reeked of moth balls. When I got home, I even had to wash my luggage and toiletries to get rid of smell.

I liked the room a lot with the additional space for closet. It was a neat location next to Yoshi's. I hiked to Pico Peak but didn't reached Killington Peak in the rain. I have a neat photo of a stream and berries on the AT.

Great location, staff pleasant. 1970 decor, fixtures, old, bathroom pretty gross, toilet had black ring of yuck under rim, smelled like smoke even tho it's a smoke free room.

The property is very run down. The included breakfast was a jar of peanut butter and some jelly packets. There were long and short black hairs in my bed from someone else since I have no hair.
