Staying at this property was overall a dream. . My only thoughts are suggestions, the pool has no shaded areas either with umbrellas or palm trees, and it was hot. They take exceptional care of cleaning the pool and the deck. My only single complaint was no AC in the living area or 2nd bedroom. While, they supply us with fans the intense afternoon sun was brutal.

We have stayed at the Palms a good number of times. The 2nd floor was good but the unit is in a real need for an update. Too many run down equipments, fridge, carpet, our bath with a shower is a danger. Slippy floor in the bath and old shower head! The bathroom toilet door would not close. Our king size bed had two tracks. Our bathroom sink was black around drain with dirt around it.

OVERALL UNIT WE WERE IN WAS AVERAGE. IT DEFINITELY WAS TIRED AND NEEDED SOME UPGRADES. TVS / FURNITURE ECT. WERE OLD! BACK PATIO LOOKED LIKE IT HADNT BEEN DEEP CLEANED IN A VERY LONG TIME. Love the location. It was large enough for my family of 6 to relax and be comfortable. The beds were terribly uncomfortable. The unit we were in the rugs were stained and worn out and could stand to be replaced or cleaned. The patio area was nice although I wish it was cleaned up from tree debris. We got in late and I appreciated that it was easy entry and the lamps were left on so we could see. I would hesitate to stay again only due to the beds that felt like a pull out couch.

We love The Palms. It’s spacious, quiet and private. It gives you an opportunity to cook/prepare food in your condo rather than going out to eat every day. BBQ’s are meticulously maintained and located throughout the property. It’s close to the beach and within walking distance of Kihei and the Shopps of Wailea.

The property was listed with Air Conditioning, but we and all 10 other couples that we travelled with were shocked to find only AC in the main bedroom. When I called Expedia, I was told that in the fine print it said AC in main area at an additional cost. Pretty ridiculous. It was beyond hot and uncomfortable in the unit and made the stay unpleasant. Also, the units were very dated. We didn't have hot water for the first 2.5 days and then the tank needed to be replaced. Had to keep calling the front desk for updates only to hear that they would get back to me.
