Great location

Perfect place to go to wineries during the day and enjoy the bottle of wine you bought while soaking in the pool. Close to shopping and local historic sites.

Rexaxing getaway

We went just to getaway from work. It was nice to have a small yard for our dogs to roam. We enjoyed the swimming pool and the game room.

Escape from city life

Beautiful cabin on top of a hill with a beautiful country side scenery. The cabin was supplied with everything needed plus more. Everything worked properly. We enjoyed the game room. The massage chair was a treat. I played a game of pool. No noise from neighbors. We now have a wonderful memory that we will carry in our hearts. Thanks Lex

Short Trip

The place was clean and charming. The game room offers plenty of fun things to play and do. We were there for an impromptu Spring Break trip. Originally thought we’d go to Fredericksburg as we had several years before. Thankfully we dodged that bullet!! Fredericksburg quaint charm is long gone with a few too many wineries. However we found lots of shopping hiking biking river fun and sightseeing in Kerrville and around smaller towns that were a short distances away from Kerrville. Lots of local restaurants to choose. The host had a perfect area for our pups for outdoor breaks. The host offered a fire whenever we wanted in the evening The kitchen has all you need to prep meals (however we ate out each meal or packed a picnic)

Cozy

So I went back and forth on the rating and in the end I think a solid 4 is a good choice.... It started off being confusing for my daughter in law and evenually my son as well, lol they didn"t know what door ro go to so they both ended up going to the homeowners house door because it is actually connected to the studio rental, no biggie though. There was a total of 6 of us so we had to use the fold out couch in the game room and my kiddos saig0q we+wŵ÷ it was actually comfortable unlike the fold out in the main area, that one was really paperthin and was not suitable for a good nights sleep. There were plenty of blankets and pillows for us all so that worked out great. Now there are somethings that need improvement, first off the pics on VRBO make it look like the pool is right there near your area and it is not at all, the pool also closes at like 10 and to he honest I thought since its like a private pool we would have full 24/7 access but I guess since it is directly in front of the owners house they close it kinda early for a weekend. Also if you plan on cooking there are not alot of pans and only a couple pots so that really was my biggest issue, lastly we took our furr babies and luckily my husband walked the fenced area because one entire piece of fence was down so they would have gotten out, I think the neighbor done that, but we did fix it, there was also just some dirty towels and rags thrown on the ground in that area as well, it was odd. ALL AND ALL WE LOVED IT

Hidden Treasure!

Just a few blocks off Sydney Baker and up a hill is the cutest, fullystocked, beautifully laid out little getaway! Game room next door,a pool, and breathtaking views! Its tucked up and away from center of town but less than 5 min drive! Super private, relaxing, safe, and comfortable! A MUST for a quick weekend getaway

easy breezy

check in easy! check out even easier! didnt know there was people staying there so to be polite and not loud spent most the time away from property. but views we pretty when i walked around the whole house to get to it(worth it). owner super awesome and helpful!!!!.

Wonderful Stay

Nice Spot

Family vacation

My family is from San antonio. We wanted to get out of the city to relax. This weekend was amazing and I would highly recommend this stay. Although the weather was lower than expected which we couldn't utilize the pool. My kids still had an amazing time enjoying the outdoors and site seeing the deers on the property

So many issues with this B&B. House had issues. Unsuitable common areas. Misleading online listing. Would not have booked if it had an accurate listing . Very disappointed with my stay there.

The house was very small and very hot. It was VERY hot. The window unit was very small and was in the kitchen. The property butted up against what looked like an RV/mobile home and old chicken coop. We didn’t have hot water which required the property owner/manager to come out and turn it on. We ended up leaving a day early, it was too unbearable. We will not stay again.
