The Arches Holiday Home

Discover The Arches Holiday Home, a spacious and comfortable rural retreat nestled in Ta' Kerċem, perfect for families, couples, and friend groups seeking a memorable Maltese getaway.



This expansive 300-square-metre property offers exceptional accommodation for up to 10 guests, featuring 4 well-appointed bedrooms with 9 comfortable beds, including a double bed, a supplementary bed, and 7 individual beds. The home ensures everyone's comfort and privacy.



The property boasts 3 bathrooms - one with a shower, another with a bathtub, and a separate toilet - providing ample facilities for all guests. The fully-equipped American-style kitchen comes complete with essential appliances including a fridge, freezer, dishwasher, oven, microwave, coffee machine, and all necessary kitchenware.



Enjoy the stunning private swimming pool measuring 12.3 x 3.5 metres, perfect for relaxing and cooling off. The outdoor space features garden furniture and a barbecue, ideal for al fresco dining. A balcony offers additional outdoor relaxation space.



Conveniently located, the house is just 150 metres from a bus stop, 230 metres from a supermarket, and 700 metres from a restaurant. Nearby attractions include Xlendi Bay (3.3 km), Ramla Beach (7.7 km), and Kerċem Village Square (1 km).



The property offers modern amenities including air conditioning, WiFi, and a self-controlled heating and cooling system at a coin (€1 & €2) pay as you go system. Private parking for 3 vehicles is available in a garage.

Gozo hol

Property was as described and had all the facilities that could be expected. The pool was well-used as we visited during the heatwave of July 2023. The only issue we had was with power cuts, which were very frequent - each time they caused the fuse box to trip, which then required resetting. When this happened multiple times and every 10 minutes it was frustrating, as were the 2 nights when we had no power all night, so no air-con, which was very uncomfortable. The dishwasher could do with a good clean as it smelled of drains. We also found a hire car very useful. Overall, pretty satisfied ☺️

Great Value

We had a nice stay at this property. It is equipped with certain things minimally (limited garbage bags, toilet paper, no basic cooking things like oil, salt, pepper) but as long as you are aware, it's fine. We had everything else we needed and the manager was easy enough to communicate with using the company's messaging system (not VRBO). As well, the heating and AC is pay per use. The space was great for our group of 9 and within 20 minutes we were in a wonderful main town square. There is also parking for many cars. Beds were comfortable. Lots of equipment to cook with. They helped us arrange fun activities and rental cars too! For this price, its a fantastic stay.

Geräumiges Haus in guter Lage

Wir hatten eine tolle Woche in Kercem! Die Lage ist prima, da vor den Toren Victorias, Gozos Hauptstadt. Grundsätzlich ein ruhiger Standort, allerdings hört man die Geräusche der nahe legenen Schule. Die Ausstattung mit 4 Schlafzimmer und 3 Bädern / WC hat uns super gefallen, ebenso wie der Pool. Dieser war Ende Oktober recht kalt, aber das war okay. Wir würden dieses Haus wieder buchen.

Clean and comfy stay in beautiful home

We loved our stay at The Arches, the place was really spacious and clean - especially the pool area which we enjoyed making use of every day. One disappointment is that the air conditioning is chargeable. There is a machine you feed with euros in the entrance hall to keep it working. If you need it on a lot in high summer this could cost you a significant amount on top of your reservation fee. I've noticed this is flagged on the listing but somewhat buried in the text so easily missed (we missed this detail).

pleasant stay

The house is comfortable and nice. It has all basic needs, clean, and has good standard towels and linen. Pool is of a good size and has a nice overflow system. We all enjoyed our stay and want to mention how efficient Mr Donald Said is when contacted about minor issues that needed fixing. He was pleasant, patient and always reachable when contacted no matter the day or time. Maintenance personal was very professional. We can say that we had a very pleasant and comfortable stay.

Sehr schöne und großzügige Ferienwohnung

Ruhige Lage. Wir waren 1 Woche mit 7 Erwachsenen und 1 Baby. Genügend Platz und Freiraum. Bus fährt jede Stunde ein paar Meter vom Haus entfernt. Küche war etwas mager ausgestattt, jedoch ausreichend. Auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen!
