"We stayed here for one night before heading through the Channel Tunnel to France, and for that purpose the location really can’t be faulted – it’s a solid 10/10 and incredibly convenient. That said, there were a few issues worth noting. In our room, the shower holder was broken, meaning you had to hold the shower head the entire time, which wasn’t ideal. Parking is no longer included and is now managed by a third party at £6 per night, which feels like an unnecessary extra. The biggest surprise, though, was the dog fee – now £30, which was actually more than the cost per adult. It does feel like they may be taking advantage of the fact that many guests are travelling with pets to France. "
