Nice hotel, the staff needs hospitality training

A lovely hotel in a lovely ski resort. Great views on the mountains from the spa facilities. Unfortunately, there is a big problem with the staff at the reception and also in the spa facilities. Unhelpful, not interested, some even bluntly rude. Some would spend their time looking at their phones while you’re talking to them. The reception staff let us check in into a room which wasn’t ready and when we got back downstairs with all our luggage (no one offered to help with the luggage) we were told that we shouldn’t expect to check in as it’s too early. They could’ve just told us to wait until it’s ready rather sending us there. At the spa facilities the reception lady got very annoyed with me when I told her that the sauna and the jacuzzi weren’t working. She was raising her voice while talking to me and kept repeating that it was working, which wasn’t true. The management of the hotel needs to seriously look into staff training. The encounters with the hotel staff significantly spoiled our stay.

Nestled right at the entry of the ski lift, the hotel's location is its biggest draw. It's a dream come true for anyone eager to hit the slopes without any hassle. However, it's important to note that the dining options at the hotel could see some improvement. The food selection was quite minimal, which might be a downside for those who cherish a varied culinary experience. Additionally, the rooms, while cozy and well-maintained, are on the smaller side. This wasn't a major issue for me since most of my time was spent outdoors. What truly sets the Gudauri Loft apart is its exceptional staff. Every team member went above and beyond to ensure a comfortable and welcoming stay. The view from the hotel is breathtaking - a picturesque landscape that looks like it's straight out of a postcard. The cleanliness of the hotel deserves a special mention. The rooms and common areas were spotless, reflecting their high standards of hygiene. And after a long day of skiing, the spa facilities provided the perfect sanctuary to relax and rejuvenate. The quality of the spa services was top-notch, adding a touch of luxury to the overall experience. The property is great but the hotel lacks anyone with a brain and anyone who cares - our room was so dirty and the lights and the TV were broken. Nothing worked at the property and the staff has zero interest in helping anyone.

Modernes Ski-Hotel direkt an der Piste

Modernes Hotel direkt an der Ski-Piste mit gutem Service, großzügigem Frühstücksbuffet und sehr sauberen, modernen Zimmern. Nach unserem ersten Aufenthalt in 2020 war es 2023 deutlich voller. Mit etwas Timing findet man aber trotzdem nach den Tag auf der Piste einen Platz im SPA. Das Hotel liegt nicht direkt in New-Gudauri, was die Auswahl der Restaurants in der Umgebung einschränkt. Wenn man bereit ist ein Taxi zu nutzen ist das aber kein Problem.

Location is fantastic. We had a corner room, so fabulous view of the mountains. Space of the room was good. Restaurant was very good. Only downsides were the toilet, we hated the black small toilet. It's something you only notice when its bad, and it was bad. Also the radiator in the room was hard to control and had us sweating the one night.

Great Hotel with Amazing Vibe

What an amazing 4 days stay at the Gudauri Loft. Massive room space, good location, great restaurant, good hospitality and great indoor pool and spa access. It was a quite stay as it’s not ski season yet but the hotel offers a tranquil place to stay and relax. Great reception from lobby to restaurant and the spa. Oh the food at the restaurant was amazing. Chef has a unique signature with chilli. Definitely a returning customer!

We stayed at Gudauri Loft from Feb. 8th to 14th, 2020. Starting with points to improve : - Room not cosy, lacking furniture to store our clothes and things even though there is room for one or two additional drawers -Bed mattress in parent room not comfortable. Very thin. -Room was cold - in particular the bathroom - even though heaters were at maximum. -Ski depot is in basement meaning that there is a stair to climb to reach the slope, which is not easy when wearing ski boots particularly for kids. -Menu in the restaurant on the 7th floor is lacking diversity, having a dish of the day would easily help improving on this topic For positive aspects: -The team is nice and helpful particularly at the restaurants on 2nd and 7th floor -Location of the hotel is good with direct Acces fromm and to slope (apart from the ski depot in basement that is not convenient) -Pool and spa are very relaxing after a full day of ski. -Nice live music in the restaurants but sometimes too loud -Many choices available for breakfast with local food which allows to discover Georgian specialties -Decoration of the restaurants, lobbies are nice

It’s a 4 star property with 2 star customer service! The only person who deserves a positive mention is the barman on the 7th floor David who was not only friendly but used initiative when faced with ambiguity! Would not return to this property!

Great hotel in Gudauri

Great location, very close to ski hire and ski lifts. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The restaurant was great, food was delicious and David, the barman makes excellent off-menu cocktails. Food for the entire table never all came out together, but that was true of every restaurant in Gudauri. Spa services were great and very affordable.

Managers should be changed...

Wating for food in restaurant almost 2 h is too much. Every day the same problem. Only one waiter for whole restaurant working almost 24h. Only Georgian food. Half of menu is unavailable. To open bottle Batman has to have permission from the manager by phone! Uncomfortable bed, with broken mattress. Hotel was empty but 1h delayed checkout is impossible.

We did not feel welcome in the hotel. Nobody from staff was friendly or helpful. Cleaning staff were sometimes sitting alltogether (6-7 ladies) in the corridor next to our room and eating sunflower seeds!!! Is it a 4 star hotel or a market place? When cleaning the room daily, they sometimes forgot to empty the bin, it does not seem that floors or shower were cleaned at least once during the week stay! When having breakfast, you could order omlete or eggs, there is no ventilation, so all our clothes were smelling like fried onions after the breakfast. Its so appaling. There was a skirent in the first floor of hotel. You had to pass it to go to the slope. The staff there were most of the times tipsy and even not hiding drinks and snacks, which were always on the counter. The customer service from all staff was absolutely bad. We ordered the double room, but received a twin instead, when we asked they offered us to put two beds together. The swimming pool on top floor looks nice in pictures, but it smells disgusting, so most of the guests do not go there. There is very bad noise isolation. We could hear everybody in the corridor all the night long.

The most stylish hotel!

Great hotel, with great design. Offcourse the most amazing thing in this hotel is - SPA zone, with breathtaking view from sauna and pool (edem for instagram lovers).

I liked the breakfast choices the restaurant on 2 nd floor has great vibes and music and it’s a ski in and out hotel. I did not like that some guests were very noisy late at night( (but I did not inform reception at the time of the noise)

ALT for lytt fra gang, trapp til rom. Bra lokasjon nærme bakken. Bra restaurant. Ok frokost Dårlig skiutleie på hotellet, må ta taxi for å komme til New Gudauri.

رائع جدا وسيكون اختيار الأول

مكان مميز جدا مكثت فيها ليلتين ممتعة للغاية. الغرفة 617 بإطلالة رائعة على منطقة التزلج ومنظر بديع للجبال الثلجية. أنصح باشتراط الاطلالة لتستمتع بالسكن. استمتعت بمشاهدة احتفالية نهاية العام من جميع الفنادق بسبب اطلالة الغرفة. الافطار جيد .. اغلب الخيارات المتاحة خضار. الموقع الفعلي غير متطابق مع خرائط قوقل واجهت مشكلة في الوصول. حامل الحقائب بشوش. طاقم الاستقبال مرح وحسن الترحيب. عادات الفندق غير مناسبة للمسلمين من حيث تقديم الخمر هدية للنزلاء ومن حيث اللباس للمساج والسباحة. مدفأة الغرفة ممتازة. سخان المياة ممتاز جدا. خدمة الغرف مميزة.

Tolles Hotel direkt an der Piste. Allerbeste Lage! Ski-verleih direkt am Hotel mit nagelneuem Equipment. Hammer Spa-Betteich. Tolle Restaurants. Wir waren absolut begeistert!
