Perfect for short day

This was an inexpensive basic hotel with nothing fancy. But it was perfect for a one-night stay. Our room was clean and very comfortable. The hotel was quiet so it was good stay.

This property is definitely outdated! It needs major renovation and upgrades. There were 4 plugins in the room and 2 of them were behind the bed. It’s right beside the interstate so there’s highway noise. You can hear the guests in the next room talking. We had to turn the tv on manually and then it never worked at all in the morning when we left.

The hostess was incredibly nice. The lobby smelled like an ash tray. The room door had trouble latching. Lights in the hallways were burnt out. The room was clean, but have never seen hard laminate floors in a hotel room. I’ve stayed at worse places but for $100/night this place needs to be a bit nicer.

The bathroom faucets were falling apart. The carpet was coming up, so you tripped on it. Washcloth the sink was not clean and there was still a dirty washcloth in the shower curtain. Mold on the shower curtain. When you walked in the back door, it smelled like a cigarette smoke and the stairs Were dirty and needed vacuuming. If you don’t read it and the beds were clean and comfortable needed better pillows TV worked well liked having the fridge and microwave very convenient.

Terrible beds.

They must have bought their beds at the five and dime. Very hard and noisy. They also seem to have had the head of the bed lower than the foot of the bed. Their refrigerator ran all of the time and it was not very quiet. I suggested to thje wife to go to another hotel the second night. We did not, but we did get up at 12:17 AM and drive 500 miles home.

First, it does not meet Expedia's standards. It was especially inconvenient for seniors. Steps up to 2nd floor or steps down to first floor. Split foyer entrance. The room was clean enough but not up to date. Headboard fell of the wall. They did tack it back up. Booking this facility was probably my fault for not noticing the rating was low. Won't be staying there again.

Needed a room

I did not know to ask for a nonsmoking room, because there is a sign on the front that says "No Smoking". It smelled horrible. The carpet was old and looked dirty and smelly. The beds were very noisy and uncomfortable and hard. The shower would not work properly so we could not take a shower. The bottom of the toilet seat had not been cleaned. You could still see poop on it. We had to use the water from the faucet in the tub. The faucets in the sink were put on wrong so to open it you had to close. I would never stay here again.
