The premises were not the best, the hallways were messy. Needed the hallways vacuumed, carpets were filthy. The room was very cold. It took all night to get warmed up, even with temperature control all the way up. TV remote did not work. No extra blankets. The bed sunk in the middle terribly. Would not recommend to stay there to anyone.

First the listing for amenities was totally incorrect. No microwave, no vending in the lobby, 5 working stations on the cable tv.... My room was clean at first glance. Bathroom door almost fell completely off. Had a table but no chair. Sink in bathroom leaked profusely. Having to use the only trash can to catch water was fun. Let's not talk about the criminal element in the general area. I was woken by a cop banging on my neighbors door for 20 mins.

Staff was great. When you walk in the door it's nice. Soon as you step on the elevator it changes ,food on the door of it,hallway looked like it hadn't been swept in months , people walking down the hallway smoking ,fire escape doors held open (9⁰ with 35mph wind) ,hallways were freezing, Room was freezing, turn the heater on , went back to the car for 20 mins. Still cold. Start looking, window is open 4" still took to 3am to get above 66 in the room , Only sheets on the beds. Had to go to Walmart to get some for the night. Mold all around the bathroom ceiling, floors in the room were sticky in spot. Toilet was broke , had to remove tank lid to flush. People that lives there complaining in the halls about not having heat in there rooms. And random people beating on the door at 3am,, No hot shower , no sleep, no heat won't be going back.

Yes they were clean. As well as the hallways and sitting area in the lobby. The parking is great also the staff. The only two thing's that I could say that is an inconvenience. Are the elevator not working and with myself having to have double hip replacement surgery. Is extremely difficult walking up the stairs to the third floor. And the ice machine doesn't work on the floor. But I can not lie... The price as well as the comfortable environment. Wonderful and the staff. I will highly recommend Staywell anytime.! For the Kalamazoo Michigan location.

I was just looking for somewhere cheap to stay the night, and while this place is not nice, it’s ok. Having read the reviews I did bring my own bedding and made a nest on top of the bed, after doing a thorough check for bedbugs and didn’t find any. The whole place is very shabby and dirty and there was some questionable graffiti on the mirror about Big Rob showing you a good time, but the toilet was clean, staff were nice, i felt safe enough and wasn’t disturbed by noise or anything.
