"We loved our stay in Rawene, it was exactly as described - a "good old Kiwi batch". No frills and plenty of heart. Really close to Northland must-do trips like visiting Tane Mahuta, the Waitangi Treaty Grounds, and Paihia/Russell. We enjoyed being so close to the Rawene shops and the beautiful view. "The staff were amazing. We arrived early as we had a funeral to attend. The young lady changed our room so we could get changed . Much appreciated. The restaurant was fantastic and the food wonderful. Looking really awesome. The room was clean and tidy,good size for us. The bathroom was old and in need of a dose of exit mould maybe. That was our only complaint,and only a small one. Overall ,it was a lovely stay."
