"This hotel is beautiful and the only place to stay in Rivas. Room was comfortable, pool was amazing. The attached restaurant is only okay, level of customer service doesn’t match the hotel at all. Food was ok, but not great. "

"It's a really beautiful property with amazing rooms. There's a new infinity pool area that faces the Pacific Ocean and the skyline (including the statue) of San Juan del Sur. The breakfast spread in the morning is amazing! I also liked the dinner options (pizza night on Wednesday and fresh mahi mahi from the coast)."

"Note: it is far from the beach. You will need a taxi to take you to and from the beach. Which is around $20 round trip. All the restaurants and stores are at the beach.
BUT other than that, the resort is amazing. I’d say spend a day at the beach because that’s all you really need. The resort has a nice pool, bar, skatepark, gym and restaurant.
The room is comfortable. Nice shower, cozy bed. AC. No bugs or dirt. "
