"You get what you pay for" Room had a non-working fridge. Faucet in bathroom sink was difficult to fully turn off. Trash bags were accumulating under the stairwell and had signs of rodents chewing through them. These were concerns that I expect and could work around without complaining to the front desk, as I knew it was cheap motel, it was a holiday week, and I slept late anyway. Despite never talking to the front desk about these issues, on 24 December, staff made up an excuse to enter the room to look at the sink drain and then harassed me for thinking I had a dog in my room. The sink drain worked perfectly. I did not have a dog either. I had pet blankets and a travel kennel that I just did not want to keep in my car while I stayed there.

Room and shower filthy, Staff couldn't understand English, no drain plugs in sink or tub so I was unable to take a much needed and wanted bath, tub overall filthy as well as walls, towels and washcloths were filthy and I tried cleaning them but only got more filth out of them, phone didn't work, got to breakfast few minutes late and nothing was left out so I didn't receive my Free breakfast, due to misunderstanding and motel not using my pay info on file I was kicked out of my room instead of being able to lengthen my stay which left me with no ride and once again left out in the cold, no hangers in room, iron and ironing board filthy, found roach in the room, unsure whether or not my Direct Express card was charged twice as Clerk at desk didn't understand English and he never asked for my itinerary number although I tried explaining to him that I booked motel thru Expedia, did load of laundry and clothes didn't come clean in washer and the dryer left lint all over my brand new sweat jacket and sweat pants as well as other clothes and I had double checked lint filter and cleaned it off prior to starting dryer, no weather stripping around room door, felt unsafe in room as if someone was watching me and door/lock didn't tightly seal or lock, drawers in room were filthy so I couldn't even put my clothes in them until I cleaned them myself with already filthy washcloth that came with room which was when I found the roach. More things wrong with room/stay but no more room to type

Very nice & friendly staff. They walk around checking the property so it’s safe. We really enjoyed our stay. The shower didnt work in one room. They quickly moved us to another room. It’s been nice & peaceful

I searched for HOTELS- this is a MOTEL. Room door would not close fully & security flip lock did not work. To feel safe, I had to wedge ironing board between door & desk to make sure door could not be opened x by me. Slept with screwdriver at my pillow & stayed only 1 night. Breakfast bar was A JOKE! All carbs, no egg products-very lacking in offerings. This is not a mid-range property, it is most definitely a budget motel. If you need a hotel night in Jackson - make sure you are on the 45S side of the road. I would never have booked this if the listing had said motel.

I read the reviews and still decided to take a chance because of the price. The property is in a very bad shape. The doors are broken. Rooms were not cleaned properly. dead batteries lying everywhere, not cleaned up and even traces of poop on the toilet seat that I ended up wiping off before using. The rooms themselves smelled horrible because there was no air circulation. The ACs were turned off as soon as the customer left. The person that claimed to be the owner is the one doing the house keeping himself. That probably explains why the rooms were in bad shape. we skipped the shower that morning. couldn't trust the towels and the shower mat was dirty. Coming to break fast. I went there at 8:00 AM, a good one hour before the close and the only thing they had was 2 types of dry cereal and waffle batter. The noise from outside was terrible because the property is right next to the highway

Hotel Fails to Match Listing, Staff Fails to Help

Per the company website and Hotels.com, there was supposed to be an outdoor pool and a free hot breakfast included with the stay. However, the outdoor pool was closed the entire time my family and I were there and the only offerings for breakfast were a few muffins, 2 types of dry cereal, milk, waffle batter, and bread (if you asked for it). The Welcome/Amenity sheet in each room even describes the "Easy Start-Free Breakfast" as "Complimentary Full Breakfast, which includes biscuits, gravy, waffles, juice, backed goods and much more" Those are my primary complaints. My family and I would have stayed elsewhere had we known in advance. Additional complaints include the 'fitness center' having no equipment except for 1 elliptical machine and 1 recumbant bike, half the washer and dryers were out of order, half the handles were missing from all the drawers in my room, there was exposed wiring in the wall going to the tv as well as where the smoke alarm in the ceiling was supposed to be, the bottom of the tub looked dirty, the shower walls were cracked, the shower head had either black mold or grime, staff entered my room despite my use of their 'do not disturb' door hanger and my asking the front desk staff member not to, and there were bags of garbage and broken glass under the stairs to the 2nd floor for the entirety of my stay. Attempts to speak with staff were fruitless and manager is absentee and unresponsive.
