Owner was absolutely amazing. The shuttle service he provided was a god send. He drops you off somewhere in the morning and picks you up in the evening. He has WhatsApp which is helpful. The dogs are very cute. We got upgraded to a bigger room. The laundry services were great too.

My favorite place that we stayed during our 2 week trip around Japan!! My sibling and I missed a train on the way from Takayama to Izu and our originally 6 hour travel plan became 12 hours. We arrived at JOYinn close to midnight, and Mr. Tack was so wonderful and accommodating! He was awake to greet us and help us with our luggage and even upgraded our room to an ocean view free of charge!! The inn was lovely and our room was perfect for us. It was comfortable and sizable and of course had a gorgeous view of the sea and mountains!! Mr. Tack offered free shuttle service in the mornings and on our last day, he even extended the time frame for us. I think the only issue we had was the lack of things to do in the surrounding area. The neighborhood is beautiful, charming, and very pleasant to explore, but there are very few close restaurants and shops especially since I have dietary restrictions. They also open and close at kind of odd times. Thankfully, Mr. Tack kindly drove us around, and the taxis in the area were also very very cheap. Just keep in mind that there aren’t any super close attractions or convenience stores! We had a great experience here and would definitely come again!!

The inn was in a quiet neighborhood. The owner was very talkative and friendly. He was reachable over WhatsApp/LINE/Telegram/WeChat, and offered free pick up and drop off options at Izu Kōgen (伊豆高原) station and a few tourist spots. The stay was quiet and peaceful and I greatly enjoyed it. Thank you for a wonderful hosting!

Boendet ligger väldigt långt från centrum uppe på ett berg så du behöver egen bil eller så får du förlita dig på ägarens pick-uppservice. Har du WiFi kan du klara av alla turer med att bestämma var du ska hämtas men utan Wi-fi är det svårt att veta var du ska hämtas. Ägarens fru var väldigt trevlig och hjälpsam. Rummet var fint. Du måste också tänka på att ha egen frukostmat då det inte finns något frukostställe i närheten men det går mycket bra att t.ex. göra omelett i mikron.

ご主人が物腰が柔らかくとても素敵です。 そして送迎サービスがとてもありがたいです。 ホテル近くの日帰り温泉まで車で迎えに来て頂きました。 翌日もシャボテン公園まで送っていただいたのですが、その際も時間変更を柔軟に対応いただけたり、シャボテン公園の入り口までの案内や、帰りのバスの時間のアドバイスをいただいたりと大変助かりました。 お部屋もコンパクトながら使いやすくゆっくりできました。 またお邪魔したいです。
