13–15 Şubat tarihleri arasında Galata’s Hotel’de 2 oda için rezervasyonumuz bulunmaktaydı. Odalardan biri özellikle balkonlu oda olarak tercih edilmiş ve bu şekilde rezervasyon yapılmıştır. Otele giriş yaptığımızda, sistemde bir karışıklık olduğu belirtilerek ilk gece için standart oda verileceği, ertesi gün ise balkonlu odaya geçişimizin sağlanacağı ifade edilmiştir. Ancak ertesi gün görüştüğümüzde balkonlu odanın 6 günlüğüne başka bir misafire satıldığı tarafımıza bildirilmiş ve bunun yerine üst katta balkonsuz farklı bir oda önerilmiştir. Rezervasyonumuz Hotels.com üzerinden yapılmış olup, tarafımıza “rezervasyonunuz otel tarafından onaylandı” mesajı iletilmiştir. Buna rağmen otel yetkilisi, Hotels.com ile sözleşmelerinin olmadığını belirtmiştir. Ancak Hotels.com müşteri hizmetleri ile yaptığım görüşmede, otelin platform ile aktif bir sözleşmesinin bulunduğu ve yapılan bilgilendirmenin gerçeği yansıtmadığı açıkça ifade edilmiştir. Yaşanan bu durumun kasıtlı olduğunu düşünmekteyim. Ayrıca süreçle ilgilenen personelin tavır ve üslubu son derece rahatsız ediciydi. Sorunu çözmeye yönelik bir yaklaşım sergilemek yerine, “Verilen odayı kabul etmiyorsanız başka bir yere gidebilirsiniz” şeklinde bir dayatma yapılmıştır. Bu yaklaşım, misafir memnuniyeti ve profesyonellik anlayışıyla bağdaşmamaktadır.

Firstly Location was perfect, we needed step 100-150 metres to get to Galata Tower and Istiklal Avenue! There were all facilities in the room which we needed during our stay, we have not faced any problem. The most amazing part of this hotel is brilliant staff! They helped us in every way to make our Istanbul trip unforgettably stunning! I will come back to Istanbul and will stay in Mesto Galata hotel surely! It is totally perfection, I wish I could stay more in Galata Door Hotel

Location is marvellous! it is just 2 minutes walking distance,To the Galata Tower, İstiklal avaneu, Subway, Taksim square. briefly it is super central located hotel! I travel a lot and I stayed many times in Istanbul. This was the hotel where I will definitely come back. Bed is comfortable, room is clean, bathroom bright and big. They really thought about everything. Staff was very nice and friendly. You can ask everything and they are pleased to help you. I had the room with the big terrace and that was the cherry on the cake.

Resepsiyonda konudan çok uzak bakkal gibi davranan bir çalışan, ulaşılamayan bir telefon müessese , rezervasyon yapmamıza rağmen farklı bir oda kiralamışız diye aynı odaya fazladan ücret, içi doldurulmamış oda, daha da sayabilirim... pek tavsiye etmiyorum fiyatını sadece konumuna göre belirlemişler. Sanırım tekrar konaklamam.
