Amazing stay at Astan

Astan Hotel was a really nice hotel off the back roads of Taksim. Really beautiful rooms and comfort was great. Maybe the breakfast could be better

Great staff and location. The grocery store is right across and tons places to eat. 5 mins walk to istikal street. Spacious room. One con is the double bed is two twin put together - still comfortable except i can feel the divide. The best part is the staff and boss. Super friendly snd nice people and that makes a great difference.

This was my 2nd time I decided to go for this hotel. It's not big with ~10 rooms however you are treated very kind and it was pleasure being a guest here. Rooms are well decorated, very clean and with modern equipment (smart TV). It is located very close to the taksim square and definitely for this price I'll decide to go for this hotel again

Fantastic staff and location. A little difficult to roll heavy bags there because of the pavement but short distance from airport shuttle. I stayed here several times before and will come back. The only thing for me is that the bigger beds are two twin beds put together and I always ended up in the gap between the beds unless i sleep diagonally. Good value.

Its a great boutique hotel, 7min walk to Taksim Square and famous shopping strip. Rooms are huge, can leave 28" suitcase open on the floor and still have space to walk around = not common in Turkiye hotels. Theres a lift and stairs. Staff are helpful and can speak English. You can communicate with them via Whatsapp during your stay which was handy. Recommend.

Great friendly and professional staff. Love the size of the bottles water - one big instead of two small ones. Great location. The only thing for me is perhaps I wish the double bed is not two twin beds put together. I could feel the gap so I ended up sleeping only on one side (one twin bed). Otherwise than that I love the people there - smiley faces.

Gap between two mattresses not comfortable

Great location but little difficult to roll heavy bags there because of the pavement but short distance from airport shuttle bus The only thing for me and my husband is that the bigger beds are two twin beds put together. I still slept well but tended to fall into the gap between the two mattresses The rest service was good, we will back again on our next trip to Istanbul

Good service&location but the rest is awful

Good things: good service, kind and welcoming staff. Got new towels or water whenever i needed. Good location, close to taksim square. The bad: not the cleanest room but satisfactory. Awful small beds with awful duvet and pillows. The duvet was obviously too big for the dovet cover, so the whole duvet was squished inside the duvet cover. The pillows were way too soft and gave me no support whatsoever. I did request more pillows or a firmer pillow, but they could not give me that. The beds must have been 80cm or even smaller and not the standard 90cm because i almost fell out of my bed multiple times. The room also randomly smelled awful of cigarettes, i reckon its from the AC - which btw also didnt work if i wanted cold air, only hot air. The cigarette smell actually made me nauseous.

Bleibt in positiver Erinnerung.

Die Lage ist perfekt. Parkplätze vor der Tür, aber privat und gegen ortsübliches Entgelt. Zimmer okay - die Vorhänge waren ergraut. Ausblick in unserem Zimmer auf Hinterhof mit ratternden Klimaanlagen. Fenster blieb daher leider zu. Einrichtung gut, Frühstück nicht Buffet, aber eine gute Auswahl auf dem Tablet. Fussläufig alles Nötige ums Eck.
