We loved our 1 night stay here and would have loved to stay longer. The property was lovely right on the river and our room was very nicely appointed. We didn’t use the hot tubs because of rain but they looked nice. We had dinner in the restaurant and it was absolutely delicious. One of the highlights of our trip! The included breakfast was also very nice!

A really lovely place with great views and convenient location. The staff was super helpful Loved the hot tubs and pool. The sauna was a little less desirable and could have been a little cleaner and hotter. Loved the trails around the property and the aurora at night!

We liked the unique location in the geothermal river valley and the views from the room. Hot tubs were appropriate for the location and very relaxing. Staff were helpful and the breakfast buffet was good. Dinner in the restaurant was great, with several options that were cooked using the hot springs.

My friend and I stayed there one night while driving around Iceland. The room was very comfortable. The restaurant was excellent with local cuisine and specialty items cooked by natural thermal steam. A hot tub and pool were a nice feature. The location would be ideal to view the northern lights but we did not get to see them due to cloud cover.

Gorgeous location with geothermal springs, right at the back of town. Appreciated the hot tubs. Excellent food at the restaurant with beautiful views. The rooms (cabins) and the restaurant are a bit dated, and it wasn’t clear from the advertisement that they were cabin lodging with outside access.

Great little quaint hotel nestled on the side of a hill right next to the Varmá River. We had a wonderful stay, it was very quiet and relaxing. We stayed in the budget room, which was perfectly fine for us, but if you want more room, I would definitely upgrade to a larger room. The morning breakfast was excellent before venturing out for the day! Highly recommend this little gem. If you have mobility issues be careful as there is unevenness on the sidewalks in the back leading to the hot tubs.

We had a great stay at this hotel. The room Was small but very clean. The property was nice and had plenty of amenities, like two hot tubs, a pool, and sauna. Once you see the placement of the hot tubs, you will be drawn to want to use them. The location was perfect for our stay. And the staff was very friendly!
