I’ve driven by this property many times and never noticed it. So glad it showed up on Orbitz! It’s a very quaint little motel basically in the country. The beds are amazing and the manager is the best. My family lives about 30 minutes away. I’ll stay again when visiting from California!!!

Although the outside is not what you would think an inn to look like, the inside is amazing. Care taker of the inn is super sweet. Love that they live onsite. The room is extremely nice and huge. Beds are feather down, so beyond comfortable. I will book with them again when I’m back in that area.

There are too many lights in the hallway and outside the room door, that arent dimmable. There needs to be extra curtain panels, or other measures, to block out all of the light. Great stay otherwise.

Quaint and rustic

Room was comfortable and spacious, but nothing exceptional or out of the ordinary. We thought it was a little pricey considering it did not include a breakfast or any other amenities. Also, there was no one there when we arrived about 5pm. We had to call a number posted on the office door, and they told us where to find our key. Not exactly welcoming.

I wasn't expecting much but was very surprised and would recommend The Barnwood to others. The people were nice and helpful. The room had more than I expected. We rarely travel, so this being away from a large city I felt was very nice. My only dislike was the cost for one night and out very early. But we haven't travelled for a very long time.

Relaxing atmosphere

Staff and atmosphere were perfect for us to relax and regroup. If we ever go back to the area, Barnwood Inn is a must. Thank you for the hospitality!
