The hosts were very accommodating and friendly. They made our stay a real pleasure. We would definitely stay there again. The room was comfortable, warm and pleasant. The Inn is lovely and beautifully decorated. Breakfast was superb.
The owners of the inn are delightful to talk to and made me feel at home. The room was excellent and the breakfasts stellar. The location is also very convenient. Couldn't ask for a better stay!
Lovely hosts, very comfortable B & B, and delicious breakfasts. Modern accommodations, in a quaint Inn, in the historic town of Hudson. The innkeepers, Robert and Marie, were very gracious and helpful with suggestions re:things to do in the area on a quiet New Year’s Day. We’d love to come back during the summer to this beautiful Catskills region.
This was an exceptional experience for a well-traveled traveler. Arriving here for a 3 day weekend was an absolute joy. I thoroughly enjoyed the Innkeepers, Robert and Marie. Their commitment to the highest standards at their Inn was very evident and delightful to experience. Breakfasts were just fabulous with lots of home-made baked goodies, local fruits and local lore too. I'll be back!
Very nicely appointed and breakfast was exceptional. The owners were personally involved with every aspect, very personable, took quality very seriously and was highly professional. We very much enjoyed our two night stay.
This was our first visit to Hudson, and despite unusually hot weather, were very comfortable at Inn at 34. Robert and Marie were very helpful, and the breakfast was perfect each day. It's apparent they put a lot of effort and pride into their home/inn. The room was comfortable, well furnished, and clean. We enjoyed exploring the town.
This is not a hotel but a private house with four bedrooms on the second floor which are rented out by the hosts. We had some problem when checked in. We were told we were booked only for one person but our Expedia booking clearly indicate for two adults. On Expedia this property shows "free parking", but It has no parking lot. Guests have to park on the street. On Expedia the room we booked indicates it has detached private bathroom, but we had to share the bathroom with other guests. It should be called detached shared bathroom.
We both have stayed at 100s of accommodations and this experience is comparable to any of them. The room was large. The wifi was great. The bed was comfortable. Everything was spotless. The bathroom was large and spotless. The breakfast was delicious - healthy, home made, creative (it was Cinco de Mayo and we had a skillet huevos rancheros).
In short, we recommend the Inn at 34 to anyone who wants to go antiquing in Hudson (the entire main st - Warren St is only a block away), explore Greene and Columbia Counties, Western Mass, Hunter and Windham mountains, Woodstock, etc. There is a ton to do and Inn at 34 is the perfect place to use as your base away from home.
We arrived in Hudson on a Saturday afternoon for the Hudson Jazz Festival.
We checked into our favorite B&B and the only place will like to stay in Hudson,
the Inn at 34. The minute we walked in we were warmly welcomed by Robert, one of the owners, and were led up to our room, that was roomy, cozy, and beautifully decorated in the manner of an English study with rich, textured fabrics, japanned furniture. The king bed was made up with elegant bedding and was SO comfortable. The ensuite bathroom was roomy and came with lovely bath soap and shampoo. After a good night sleep, we had a relaxed breakfast in the elegant dining room, with plenty of good coffee and house made granola with yogurt and fruit and eggs baked in ham cups. We hated to leave and can't wait to return; thank you Marie and Robert!
This B&B was excactly what one would hope for, clean, private, and a great host. They really went the extra mile providing comforts of a 5 star hotel, face wipes in the bathroom, water on your bedside, and the home cooked breakfast was increadable. Walking distance to all of Warren street and the river. Will definitely be a repeat stayer!
This lovely historic home is furnished with tasteful decor and all the details you could ask for in a comfortable stay. From the moment you walk in the door, your hosts and all that they provide will make your stay restful and regenerative. The food is spectacular, the beds are comfy, the sitting room is inviting. You can't go wrong!
We had a great stay at the Inn. Robert and Marie are great and made us feel welcome. Our stay started by being picked up at the train even though the inn is a 5 minute walk. This allowed me to get a quick tour of the town. And then I checked in - our room was great. Cozy and clean. Breakfast was delicious. We were close to all the restaurants and bars!
We stayed here while attending Plantstock weekend in Claverack. Although we didn't eat the breakfast because our meals were included in our weekend Robert was wonderful. He made a dinner reservation for s Friday night and he provided early coffee and tea for us. He also sent me something that I left behind immediately. The room was spacious and very comfortable with a very nice bathroom. Robes included. Highly recommend to others. It is right in town and you can walk to restaurantS
