the keys that were given to me for my room didnt work. i had to have a staff member open my door at every entry. otherwise, my stay was very wonderful. it was quiet ,clean and pool was well kept.
Surprisingly cozy, but had warnings about the area and some trouble with the locking mechanisms that made us a bit wary. Breakfast made it worth it though!

It was so nice to have the studio set up with the kitchen and the staff was great. They were in the middle of remodeling, which is greatly needed. Where they had finished the upgrades was nice, but if you were in a room where they hadn’t it is definitely needed.

We would stay again if they were not changing to an apartment complex.
This hotel refused to accommodate my handicapped and wheel chair bound husband who is suffering from brain cancer. I was turned away, without a refund for my reservation. I had to go door to door to find a hotel room for the night. This is inexcusable.
Breakfast is good, close to medical center, room is renovated, staffs are great.
Location is perfect. Lots of restaurants close by, supermarket is next door. zoo and museums are close. Location is perfect. Public transport is also available. Hospital shuttle is available.
We made our meals in our room.

They are in a period of being bough so there is evidence of plans for a change. I hope the new owners keep the fabulous staff. I felt like we were treated like family.

dissatisfaction
Since the change of the company the service nor amenities is of my satisfaction usually I don’t complain about anything but this stay left a very unsatisfying mark on making sure the next time I book a stay at a hotel I won’t b giving excuse after excuse about why this or that doesn’t work and why this happened that way. I did not enjoy my stay at all but the staff was ok when they weren’t giving me excuses.

Had to get someone to open my door every time I went into my room
Relatively economical place to stay before surgery at Texas Orthopedic. Water pressure was very low. Toilet took several minutes to fill. Security light outside our room kept room lit up all night.

Cómodo pero viejo
Muchos problemas con la cerradura de entrada, la tuvieron que cambiar 2 veces, el hotel es cómodo pero ya esta muy maltratado.
El personal es muy amable y comprensivo.
Air went out in one room then gave me another that was so old fashion it was embarrassing to let my co-worker stay with me then i said no i dont want that one so them they gave another but it didnt have a phone in it so i couldnt make no phone call then the am manager push the door on my head an didnt even apologize so im calling BBB ON THEM AN ALSO I WANT THAT manager FIRED FOR HITTIN ME IN MY HEAD
We had a nice room this time. First time we had a room with no phone. The room we had this time was wonderful. Would be nice if there was a way to block out the light from the patio door besides the blinds.
Good Acomadations, friendly staff, good shuttle service to St Lukes.

The staff is helpful and friendly, the shuttle service is timely and wonderfully convenient, and the hot breakfast is good even with a relatively static menu. The inclusion of a kitchenette gives a great alternative to the high costs of eating out and the hotel is right next to a grocery store (separated by a fence). This hotel is close enough to the medical center to be very convenient if you prefer to drive there.
We consistently have problems with the door locks, however. The hotel is still undergoing renovations and our rooms are almost always unfinished, mostly with minor details (hanging rods in the closet alcoves are obviously poorly leveled assuming they are even installed). The tub in the last room didn't appear all that clean. The hanging window blinds don't cover the windows all that well so privacy is a concern, especially on the ground floor rooms. And a big consideration is that, since these are renovated apartments, once you step out your room you are walking in outdoor, uncovered walkways to your destination, be it your car or the front office.
All that said, we would still stay here again. For the most part the place is well kept, the neighbors haven't really been noisy, and there are a lot of conveniences.
Great stay. Check in was quick and hassle free. Staff was very friendly! Only note I would like to leave was there were some bugs found in toilet bowl upon arrival. Flushed them down and had no other issues.
The staff was friendly and helpful. We loved the free shuttle within 2 miles of hotel. The complimentary breakfast was outstanding including hot buffet items such as sausage. Also, there was a complimentary free dinner Monday thru Thursday.with items such as chicken Alfredo. The dinner had several beverages including beer. Otherwise, the facilities were excellent including a nice swimming pool, free BBQ grills, and tennis & basketball courts. When I visit Houston again, I will stay here again.
Very quiet, clean, comfortable room (and kitchen if I had needed it) for a reasonable price. Easy parking on site. Breakfast was OK, with many food choices.
