The front desk worker Penelope was amazing and very helpful. We needed a room change due to the original room being unclean and she was very accomadating. The hotel itself was not very clean carpets very stained, floor was sticky elevator needed to be cleaned. Our first room was dusty, sheets appeared to have blood on them, had an odor and needed to be vacuumed. Our second room was slightly better but it did have sticky residue on the walls and crumbs on the floor and the fridge needed to be cleaned. This hotel needs to order new towels as everyone we got was stained, we went to Walmart and bought our own. The price was very good which is why we got it and stayed. We were in town for a funeral and didnt have time to find something else in our budget. I personally wouldnt stay there again and cant recommend it to anyone. Only things decent were the price and the one worker they had there.

Upon entering there was a roach on the dresser. One small towel and one large towel. Went down to the desk Anna asked for more towels only to be given another large towel and a bath mat. The toilet would not flush or even fill with water. Other than that the bed and pillows were really comfortable but had a few stands on the comforter.

Service was good. Had options of food around the hotel and could walk to places. Staff are kind and nice. Very clean hotel. It even has a pool and a washer and dryer machines. I would recommend this hotel to families and friends

Tv was not working. Good thing I'm handy and I fixed it myself. A person had their door open and was laying in bed with the tv on. Good thing I said something to the staff and I got a differnet room on the 4th floor. So for peace and quietness I think the 4th floor is the best floor to stay on even though it takes longer to get to. There is an elevator. Other than that I got some good rest. Thank you Jesus!

The young Hispanic male who we encountered when we arrived was very helpful and kind. We had a horrible experience at a different Hotel and it almost ruined our trip. This young man helped us and made our vacation much better. Got us a room quickly and genuinely cared that we had a comfortable stay. I will definitely recommend Comfort Suites in Channelview, Tx.

Family stayed here 8 months ago and the transformation is night and day. 8 months ago it was an enjoyable experience, clean, and good commodities. Now it was dirty, smelled of smoke everywhere, and loud obnoxious people. I wouldn’t mind the stay if it was just myself , but for a family I’m going to avoid this property going forward. Needs management that cares about the property, and creates/enforce standards of stay.

Get what you pay for

The front desk service was friendly. Our room didn’t have coffee like it advertised. The hotel did not have any ice. All the ice machines were broken. I had to make 3 trips down to the desk to get towels, sheets and a blanket for the sofa bed and our heater wasn’t working (32 degrees outside). The beds were comfortable. We felt safe but it was a little dirty and scratches on the walls everywhere.

The staff was amazing and friendly and helpful. The building had some issues even though it was only 5 years old. Several of the elevator buttons were broken but still functioned. There were cosmetic things that made the place look old and used. One of the lights in the bathroom didn't turn on.

DISGUSTING!!!!

They couldnt find our reservation and told us they were all sold out, then somehow found it. When we entered the room there was a nice size blood stain on the carpet as soon as you walk in. Blood on the comforter and wall. Looked like some type wing sauce on the ice bucket. We had 4 people in our room but could only get 2 sets of towels and if we needed extra we had to exchange the used ones, which meant going back and forth. The lady running the desk was super rude anout the towels and even handed me a dirty wash cloth with make up still on it. Hair was found in the bed and all over the bathroom. It's clear they onlygo in and male the beds after guest leave.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Great customer service. The elevator was out of service and I received a call shortly after booking that my room was on the 4th floor and the stairs was my only option. I decided to not cancel. The pool was clean. However the toilet seat in my room was cracked/ broken. Water pressure in the shower was low and the draining of the water was slow. The room is a good size with double beds and a pull out sofa bed.

Comfortable beds but everything else was bad

I will say the bed was super comfortable. However, the lobby for sure smelled like weed. Their description lists that they have cribs but they do not. Almost all of the provisions shelves were empty. We were told breakfast started at 5, but at 5:30 nothing was set out. There are multiple elevator buttons broken. No phone in the room. It could really use a good cleaning.

Check in was great with friendly staff. Room was hot, after 2 hrs we called to see if they could come check it but they said it was probably broken so moved us to another room. No worries. When we got back late that night key wouldn't open gate. Sign on door said locked and to call. No one answered. Kept calling and trying to open gate. Finally after banging on door a staff member came (horrible stench of marijuana) and looking like she could barely walk. Not a good option sitting outside in driveway at night in an unfamiliar city
