Good location and value. Traditional guest/ roadhouse. Generally clean and tidy but could do with redecorating and modernization whilst keeping traditional style. Late check in not till 1700 and building/pub not open either so if arriving on bus have to lug luggage around all afternoon

I felt safe when I stayed, and couldn’t find anyone else cheaper in Horsham. The building is spectacular but the conditions need to be considered. I suggest to stay one night first and think if stay longer.

It’s a lovely old pub that needs the carpets cleaned and the rooms needed major cleaning. Staff were friendly. Nice fireplace in the public bar areas. Could do with a significant injection of funds to improve the accommodation areas

Nice place, the building is beautiful even if it is old. The dinner was good too. Only con somebody opened my door while I was still dressing, it was still 15 minutes before checkout.

Old pub character

150 year old pub so its tired but full of character. I was there for a quick stopover, room was clean, linen excellent and basic need met. Staff and service friendly and helpful. Value for money.

Good stopping point

This is a nice old pub in centre of city. As clean as an older building can be. Staff friendly and helpful. Possibly slightly over priced for what you actually get but would stay again.

Great budget option for a one nighter, if all you need is a room with a bed this is it. Can’t fault it for the price, have stayed before prob will again. Although A decent pillow would be a great addition. Bar staff at check in very polite, professional and helpful.
