It's a small hotel tucked away between bigger buildings. So it feels private, like a secret. The staff is super friendly and kind. The decor warm and homey. It feels more we were staying at our favorite Auntie's house instead of a hotel.

The valet was friendly as he informed me that they had zero available parking spaces. He gave me good directions through the series of 1-way streets to a nearby parking garage. Great, but it took over half an hour to get there, park, and walk back. Never again.

Old rooms leaky ceiling

While the staff was friendly and welcoming, the condition of the room was terrible. Springy old mattress, dirty carpet, dark and all around not pleasant. There was a lot of rain, but I did not expect water coming down from two places on the ceiling! Clothes I had put on the chair got all wet. The whole building needs repair and refreshment. We paid over $300 per night and felt that could’ve been spent better elsewhere. Though close to Ala Moana mall, I would consider a different hotel next time.

The room and services were good, our issue was accessibility. One of our group uses a wheelchair and there is no access from parking into the hotel for a wheelchair. There are about 15 stairs you have to go up to get to the lobby. There is an elevator to get to its other floors but not to get from street level to the lobby. This should be noted prominently in their listing.

I knew that this property was not a 5 star property when I booked it. But it was cheap and I was familiar with that area which I liked. People that worked there were nice. My biggest problem with this property is that they allowed smokers or at least did not enforce no smoking rules. I was not aware of that. My room was constantly filled with cigarette smoke and that did not go well with my asthma. Unfortunately I was on a budget and I could not leave so I was stuck there for 6 nights. Also, I did not care about the pool because I never use it anyway. But I am writing this for people who use pool area on their vacation. It is clean but very small and there is no seating area or chairs around it.

The hotel itself is outdated & it has cockroaches.We had to pay a 30$ daily fee for parking however the spaces are limited so we had to park at another hotel. Although it says breakfast available, they don’t serve breakfast which took us by surprise. The walls in the hotel are very thin you can hear other rooms using the restroom, showering, Etc. I would recommend looking for a better hotel for the same price .
