DOTTIES HOUSE HOBART



Dotties House is a beautifully renovated and tasteful house with a modern open plan kitchen, dining and lounge. The lounge seats six people in comfort and has a 65-inch smart TV , Wii console and games.
The kitchen/dining area has lovely stone bench tops and seats 6. The kitchen is equipped with dishwasher, microwave, large fridge/freezer, oven/ glass cook top, beautiful coffee machine with grinder and other small appliances.
The fully equipped laundry has a washing machine and dryer, iron and ironing board.
Dottie's House offers two queen beds, 1 with ensuite, and both have wall-mounted smart TV's and reverse cycle heat pumps.
The third bedroom has bunk beds. All bedrooms have electric blankets, bedside lamps and clock radios.
The main bathroom has bath/shower, toilet, vanity, hairdryer, heated towel rail with extra towel storage. Ensuite has separate shower, toilet, hand basin and hairdryer.
A reverse cycle heat pump keeps the house warm or cool for your comfort.
All bed linen and towels are supplied and are commercially laundered.
Cot and highchair are available on request.
The backyard is flat, safe and secure.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Dottie's House. It was extremely clean and the space was perfect for us. Kids enjoyed the outside space and games room and we were spoilt for choice with 4 TVs. The hosts provided some basics and pantry staples which was appreciated. Location was perfect with lots of shops just a around the corner.

We have stayed previously at Dottie’s. It is excellent accommodation for a family. Extremely clean and comfortable. Everything that you would need in kitchen. Very comfortable beds and lounge room. Close to supermarket. Although busy street it is very quiet inside. Would thoroughly recommend.

Thanks Dotties house for a 10/10 stay in Hobart. The accommodation was clean, spacious and felt like we were staying at home. The teens (and husband) enjoyed the games room, basketball hoop and Wii. Grocery shops within walking distance. Ticked all the boxes for our family of four.

Family getaway

Great property for families with teenagers. Plenty of entertainment options & zones on the property, and location is central to the best Hobart has to offer (MONA, CBD, Mt Wellington etc). Thanks for letting us stay.

Great little property close to Hobart

My friends and I needed a place to stay for a few days while on school holiday and we had a great time here! We were able to easily access the bus system to get into the city of Hobart as well as walk to several cafes and a mall nearby. Would highly recommend!

Great family home

We stayed for 5 days while in the Hobart part of our trip. The house was as advertised and a great family home. Really convenient having the basketball ring and games room for down time. Can walk to woolworths and local pub/cafes.

Great place as a base to travel around hobart and surrounding areas , stayed 5 nights . Kids love the games room , table tennis was a great hit ! Amazing Christmas getaway

We stayed for a week over Christmas with our 3 children. Property was amazing! Kids were entertained with the basketball ring, huge backyard & the games room. Plenty of DVD options & the Wii also. Beds were comfy & house had plenty of room. The kids have already asked when can we go back!! We'd definitely recommend & stay here again :)

First Tasmania Holiday

Mark and Miriam presented a fantastic place to use as our main base while visiting Tasmania for the first time. The house was clean and tidy, with a pantry stocked with quite a few essentials. The games room in the backyard was great for our fourteen-year-old to spend some time by themselves watching movies, phoning their bestie, or having a laugh with me playing table tennis. Comfortable beds and sofas, and a nice outdoor area to make use of. Remarkably close (walking distance) to supermarkets and a couple of restaurants. My only minor complaint was that the dining area was a high bench and stools. Not the most comfortable of settings, but we ate out most of the nights anyway, so it wasn't too much of a problem overall. We will certainly consider booking Dotties Cottage when we visit Hobart again. Overall, a great place to spend a week exploring Southern Tasmania.

Outstanding property ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Thoroughly impressed with Dottie’s House . Sparkling clean , large house with lovely garden. We were travelling with our adult children and there was plenty of space. The rooms are big ,all tastefully decorated.Beds are so comfortable with high quality linen . Kitchen is perfect ,very well appointed : cooking oils ,spices ,sauces ,paper towel.Lots of appliances and cooking dishes .Everything was thought of and enabled us to cook some great meals whilst staying there. The games room is massive .This house caters very well to larger families . Parking in driveway was easy for our large car. The location is very central : walking distance to shops,supermarkets,cafes ,restaurants and the Cinema. Mark and Miriam were amazing hosts ,their communication was wonderful . Dottie’s House is highly recommended and I plan to stay there again when I return to Hobart Thanks
