Very comfortable place to stay

An amazing place to stay. This is a wonderful historic home on a quiet street. The house is well maintained and comfortable. The kitchen was nicely stocked with water, juice, coffee, milk and cereal. They put a quiche in the fridge for us. We enjoyed our stay.

You will love it!

My husband has never allowed me to book a room outside of a name brand hotel. I did not tell him I booked here until we were on our way and he was a bit irritated with me. He absolutely loved this Guest House and Room.(I did too) It was exactly as the photos showed and we will be back! Vicki our hostess was beyond helpful and we highly recommend the Market on Courthouse Square for a meal. Hinton, WVA is charming we loved it.

We liked that the property was clean. We had a problem getting in because we were not told that we needed a code to get in. There were no directions for using the coffee maker. The staff person we met was very helpful.

We are over 70 and we did not have a bathroom in our room. I may have read this, but I don’t recall reading it. We would not have rented this room if I’d known it didn’t have a bathroom in the room. Luckily, the room we would have shared the bathroom with was not occupied, but we still had to go out of our room, utilize the bathroom. Remember the code to get back in our bedroom a couple of times a night. Also, the stairs going up to the room, and all rooms are located on the second floor, are very narrow and a bit dangerous for older people. But, even though the room was very old, it was clean, and the bed was comfortable.

My wife and I came for a visit on the Amtrak train to the town of Hinton West Virginia. Stephinie was a very helpful point of contact. The property was beautiful. The Allmans were very helpful and generous. We loved Hinton WV. Everything we did was within walking distance of the train station. We are already planning our next visit.

Very comfortable accommodations and easy communication with the owners. Nice that there was a small eatery within walking distance after traveling. Enjoyed my stay and the Quiche that awaited me in the morning!!

Hinton was an adorable little town, and the bed and breakfast was perfect. The charming home decorated tastefully of the period it was built! Loved it. Quiche was delicious.
