nice quiet, perfect for family stay. only 3min drive to hill end city. even kangaroos visiting your room in he morning. the owner is super friendly and chill. the only downside is the bathroom will become a little pobd after shower.

A super quiet and relaxed place for a getaway. Onsite restaurant makes things convenient. A huge range of native flora attracts many birds and kangaroos are often seen hopping between the rooms!

Lovely place to stay- peaceful and safe. Easy parking, wifi in an otherwise township 'dead zone'. Close to everything with lovely friendly host and staff. Dinners available and a neat BBQ area. Just a note: Go prepared with your own water and bbq supplies as the closest towns are both over an hour away and the small village shop isnt really that well stocked.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Ample space in your room. Was very cold day and heater worked perfectly. Breakfast available. Short drive into centre of historic Hill End.

Highly recommend, a hidden treasure

We loved our stay at Hill End Lodge. The room was large, bed very comfortable with tea & coffee facilities in our room. The host was friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed breakfast and coffee’s, the evening meal was delicious. The Lodge is set in beautiful bush surroundings, such a pleasure to be greeted in the mornings by the in house chook & roaster, parrots and rosellas. Highly recommend you stay, when visiting Hill End at gorgeous historical town.

A wonderful place to stay

I cant speak highly enough about our stay. All of the staff were incredibly friendly, our room was fabulous and the food from the restaurant is divine. We stayed two nights and the grounds are lovely, the shower is instantaneous, its peaceful and quiet and we were treated like family. I would return in a heartbeat- it felt like a home away from home. We had a very relaxed stay. Close to town - we rode our bikes in and out of town.
The restaurant is fantastic - delicious and varied menu with generous servings. Breakfast is included and there is plenty of variety
The grounds and gardens are lovely - plenty of room for the kids to safely run around
Nature abounds - local birds come in for a feed

Two Quiet Nights

We were in Room 10, far enough away from the dining room not to have internet but we didn't mind. Internet was strong down in dining room. Our room was large and very comfortable. Bed and pillows great. AC worked really well against the humidity. We enjoyed dinner each night on site, the food was tasty and well presented. The continental breakfast was complimentary, with hot items at cost. Would recommend.
