Perfect haven

A gorgeous spot a little back from the beach (about 1km) but walkable, and easy to get tuktuks. No frills rooms that were delightful. Super friendly hosts who are very familiar with the area and can offer advice and recommendations if needed. The most fabulous breakfast selection each morning, always with variation. Would love to return and totally recommend this spot.

Fantastic property

The plantation house is a very comfortable, modern and well maintained property in Hikkaduwa. Peter was was an exceptional host who has made our stay very enjoyable and has made us feel at home. We have thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Plantation House and would recommend this property to anyone.

This place is a bit of a hidden gem! Beautiful spot just off the main road just before you get to main Hikkaduwa beach, however there's another beach just at the end of the road which has bars, surfing hire etc... so really no need to head to Hikkaduwa unless you want to. The rooms were spotless, well catered and they have REAL PROPER COFFEE. The hosts couldn't have been more welcoming, friendly, helpful and just nice to be around. They have morning Yoga which was great, plus the pool and grounds are beautiful. Great breakfast also :) We'd stay here again in a flash, and we're actually a little disappointed we didn't stay a bit longer.

"Spot on!"

What a gem. Just off the main road so it is quiet, easy to walk to beach. Pool & gardens lovely. Very clean. English owners are very helpful. Relax here or ask and they will get you a tuk tuk for sightseeing. I should not tell you how good this hotel is as it will be full if I ever find the opportunity to go back. "A happy place"

What a find! This place is a newly opened small boutique guest house built in Colonial style that has everything you could wish for during your stay in Hikkaduwa. Peter, the owner, is a man many years in the hospitality trade who is incredibly welcoming and hospitable, going out of his way to ensure his guests are happy and comfortable at all times. The rooms are minimally furnished, but have everything you want and there is also access to a common lounge/dining area for further relaxation space. The pool is kept immaculately clean and is set in attractive small gardens. A very nice breakfast is served daily on the lovely front terrace which sets the tone perfectly for the day ahead. All this at a very reasonable price which represents amazing value for money given the quality of the accommodation. This is not a five star hotel but a beautifully appointed well run guest house which met our needs perfectly for three nights during our family holiday. I would have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone and wish the owners the very best of luck with this new business. We will definitely be back!!
