"Check in time, as stated on the website, was 3:00 PM. We arrived shortly after 3:00 PM, only to be told that our room was not available yet and to check back in about 30 minutes. After waiting 30 minutes in the lobby area and checking back with the front desk attendant, we were told that they had not started cleaning the room, and to check back in about another 30 minutes. Finally, after waiting over an hour, we were told our room was available for our check in. It was unfortunate that we had to wait so long for our room after traveling all day to get to our destination. No one offered us an alternative room, a discount for the inconvenience, or any amenities while we waited in the lobby. I had to ask if coffee or tea was available while we waited for our room to be cleaned for our check in. We were very unsatisfied with the extended amount of time it took to get our room and will consider other accommodation alternatives for our next stay in the area."

"The pool was closed. The staff was unwelcoming. The fridge was broken. The shower had mold. The ice machine was broken. No vending on site. Gym discounted pass was not honored. AC worked well. Bed was soft. "

"The room was cozy, it was very cold the nights we were there and the yurt heated quickly and held temperature through the night. The deck, bathroom, and furnishings were all top notch and perfect for the environment!"

"We stayed here over Spring Break to visit White Sands National Park. The rooms had recently been remodeled and were better than expected inside, with the exception of the bathroom (still old) and the sofa bed had tons of debris underneath when pulled out and clearly had not been vacuumed in some time. The room had enough space for our family of 6. We had a mini fridge and microwave in our room. The breakfast was good, but highly congested. This was partly due to spring break crowds, and because the serving area is tucked into a corner but we enjoyed the available options. "

"Clean, open home that worked great for the small part of our family on the trip. It is located conveniently between Cloudcroft and Alamogordo which made travel easy either direction. We loved the view from the front door/porch swing. You also can beat having the fruit stand (same owner) next door. We made sure to purchase some items to take home a share. We will definitely consider staying here again!"

The green chili is delicious! It is an older motel, but it has been updated. I like that the lamps had USB ports. Thank you for another comfortable stay!"
