About this property

Welcome to the Heart of Helen, Chalet Munich

  • Welcome to the Chatthhoochee National Forest in North Georgia Mountains where year round adventures begin. You will park your vehicle and walk almost everywhere in Downtown Helen. So much to do with shopping, dinning, golfing (mini and 18 holes in Innsbruck), tubing, gem mining, roller coaster, zip line for all ages and the list goes on!

    Chalet Munich is located above a retail space and the hours of operation are 11am-9pm. The guests will have the entire upstairs floor for their privacy. Chalet Munich is not handicap friendly and stairs are needed to enter the unit. The parking is in the rear of building for one vehicle. The interior is a modern rustic with handmade wooden furniture. You have your own private balcony with a city view.

Check-in was seamless, and the room was well kept. The location makes access to most of Helen easily accessible on foot, which we loved. Considering the surroundings, the location was decently quiet for the most part. Would definitely stay here again if given the option.

We love staying at the Chalet Munich! Bruce and Christy are amazing hosts! They are super responsive and do all they can to ensure guests have a great experience. The location couldn’t be any better. Perfect place for a couple to stay when visiting Helen!

Our stay was perfect in every way, super clean and very cozy! We loved it, and will definitely book again. We stayed New Years Eve weekend and watched the Edelweiss Flower drop at midnight from our balcony!! What a great visit! This quaint loft smack dab in the middle of Helen is perfect. Easy walking distance to everything, clean rental, great communication with the property owner, all make for a magic visit. Highlighted by the Oktoberfest activities, this was a perfect visit to Bavarian Helen.

The property was perfect for a getaway. Close to everything, we were able to park our vehicle and not get into again until we left. We will book the same place for a December stay. The property was very clean and had a ton of room.
