Happy Stay

We didn’t notice the reception is not 7/24, we checked email when we arrived and found the code for the room key. That’s okay. Easy to access. The room is clean and good for family. But no air conditioning, only with fans. Has supermarket nearby in walking distance. Can buy and cook simple dishes in the room. The breakfast is incredible.

Clean, comfortable and well-equipped

Our apartment was modern, clean, comfortable and equipped with everything that we could wish for. A great space for a family of four. We only stayed one night, but the apartment would have been very comfortable for a somewhat longer stay. The location was a bit of a let-down: the hotel is miles away from anything interesting. That said, there is an excellent café only a few hundred meters away serving delicious breakfast and light snacks.

This is a great hotel if you are visiting the city with a car. It was 5-10 mins to drive to everywhere. We did , however, walked to town on our first day and it was about 40-50mins walk to the castle. It was a good walk. It was a nice hotel with a small kitchen. There is a small market downstairs. The hotel is also next to an movie theater that plays English movies. We did catch a movie one night which was great.

Room itself was nice. Well decorated and had a kitchenette with sink. Had a balcony. However no air-con. Even in September i was too warm. I imagine its unbearable in the heat of summer. The resteraunt only did breakfast. No option for an evening meal. Staff were nice at the breakfast meal. I did have a problem one day where my card wouldn't open the breakfast room door, so i had to wait for someone to let me in. The hotel was in the middle of nowhere. 20 minute walk to the train station, and then another long walk into town, or a 10 minute tram ride if you want. Just a bit too far from things.

Hotel was good but there was a bad smell in the room when we first arrived. Smelled like overcooked cabbage, or sweaty socks. We opened the doors to air it out. Otherwise the room seemed clean and the beds comfortable.

Super unkomplizierter CheckIn/Out Nette Dame an der Rezeption Zimmer war okay, kleinere Mängel die ich bei diesem Preissegment eigentlich nicht erwartet hätte, aber grundsätzlich nichts weltbewegendes. Es war größtenteils sauber, gab frische Handtücher/ Bettwäsche. Man hat nichts von anderen Hotelbesuchern mitbekommen. Generell ist die Gegend sehr ruhig, auch das hätte ich bei der Nähe zum Hauptbahnhof nicht erwartet. Würde für einen Besuch in Heidelberg also jederzeit wieder hier einchecken:)

Rymligt och fräscht badrum

Överlag bra! Ligger väldigt nära tågspåren så det är omöjligt att ha balkongdörren öppen på natten, vilket hade behövts för det var varmt! Det ligger en bit från city men vi lyckades ta oss ner med spårvagn och buss. Rymligt och fräscht badrum.
