So clean and smartly decorated in a style that matched the vibe of the house. Had everything we needed to make the stay comfy. TV's worked, beds comfortable. Highly recommend.
We were in town for the state Wrestling meet and this was the perfect accommodation. It was in a great location, close to the venue and close to food. It was clean, comfortable, and perfect. Thanks for the great weekend and the perfect place to stay. We will be back when we are in the area.
This place is adorable. They have kept the historic preservation throughout but modernized for comfort and functionality. Beautifully decorated and great location. We would definitely stay here again next time we come to Hays. Bravo!

Oh my gosh! What a fantastic place. Loved the vintage look, antiques, cupboards. Decorated in an old style but had everything we needed. Such comfortable beds, blankets everywhere. Great water pressure. Fluffy towels. So much history in the parsonage. We can't wait to come back.
we were here for our son’s graduation and stayed with some family and this place was absolutely beautiful and perfect!! loved all the antique decor, would highly recommend!!!
We had a wonderful weekend with friends. The owners have done an amazing job of updating, yet restoring, this historical home. Very charming. We hope to stay again!
Place is amazing!!! So clean, beds very comfortable, and just a very cool place to stay. Like stepping back in time. We definitely be back!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Historic home with loads of personality and many upgrades/renovations. The home is comfortable and sits on a large lot close to everything. Superior owners!
We had a wonderful evening and overnight at the Parsonage. We were able to walk to the local brewery for dinner and through a nearby park after. The house was wonderful. It had the look and feel of historical charm but loaded with all modern amenities. Thanks for a memorable stopover. I hope to stay again next time I'm in Hays.
We loved this beautifully restored stone cottage! Every detail of convenience was covered. It was the best nights stay we've had at a VRBO home. The host was easy to contact with any issues we had and quickly resolved them. It truly was a perfect experience! Can't wait to visit again.
The house was beautifully restored, very charming and clean, and had all the amenities we needed. It is conveniently located (walking distance) near downtown Hays. The door code was sent to us and was easy to use. We walked to Gella’s Cafe/Libery Brew Pub and had a delicious supper with wonderful beer. It was a wonderful experience and we’d gladly stay at The Parsonage again. Cary & Molly
The minute you enter this property, you relax stepping back in time. The owners have done an incredible job remodeling this stone home. All the furnishings, the architectural touches, upgraded bathrooms and comfy beds made this a jewel for our stay. Bravo! A king bedroom, a queen bedroom and a fold out couch gave us plenty of places to sleep. Kitchen was very well stocked too. Thank you for
We stayed at this really charming little stone cottage and absolutely loved the cozy, rustic vibe. The space was extremely clean, thoughtfully decorated, and felt very homey — it definitely has that warm, country feel that makes you want to stay in and relax. We also very much enjoyed the fresh farm eggs! However, we did have an unexpected issue during our stay. A bat somehow made its way into the cottage at night, which was pretty unsettling and forced us to move downstairs to the other bedroom to feel safe. It was an unfortunate surprise that definitely disrupted what had otherwise been a peaceful and enjoyable evening. That said, the cottage itself is lovely and would be a wonderful getaway with just a bit more attention to keeping wildlife out. We still appreciated our time there and hope this helps improve future stays for others!
This place is wonderful. It is wonderfully restored. The rooms were all lovely and the yard was a huge extra space. When we come back we will stay here again.
I have travelled extensively both here in the US and abroad and this is by far one of my favorite places. It is spotless and decorated and restored to perfection. It has the charm of the parsonage from the 1800’s with all the conveniences of a modern home. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. We only spent one night here but I would love to return for a longer stay. There are many added amenities such as comfy beds and high end linens and soaps. If you like the charm of older homes you will love it. I also loved the old newspaper articles that mentioned the parsonage in its heyday
