The living area was dirty, roaches were everywhere. Customer service was rude, roaches in bed. Big hole in wall. I hated this stay !! At least the water got hot.

Clean rooms;not up to fire code; staff horrible

Front desk staff barely speaks english and you are not allowed into the lobby. Everything has to be done through the window. Smoke detectors not even installed. Open wires from original smoke detectors in the ceiling and found the actual smoke detector in a drawer!

Worst Hotel ever!!

When we checked into the room the staff was very pleasant! When we opened the door to the hotel the room had a musty odor, then we moved back the sheets and German Roaches were all over in the bed, and on the walls and in the bathroom, then when I told the manager and asked for a refund he said no and said I’ll give you a different upgraded room so we went to see the other room it definitely wasn’t an upgrade there were bugs in the bathroom and when I pulled the sheets back on the bed there was dried blood on the sheets and the manager told me, I’ll get you a clean sheet and I said this isn’t acceptable and walked away he told my husband well I don’t know what you expect this isn’t the Marriott, this is a cheap, affordable hotel nothing special!! I recommend you stay anywhere else!

Terrible stay

Don’t expect anything crazy while staying at this location. We were told there were 2 queen size beds they were full size if I have ever slept in a bed. The smoke alarm was pulled out of the ceiling half of the lights did not work the shower curtain did not have a liner and was falling out of the wall the dresser was inoperable all of the drawers were off the tracks and would not go back on the tracks. The bolts on the bed were sticking out the phone was unplugged. Don’t expect customer service the lobby was closed the entire stay we had to talk to them through the night window. The list goes on and on. The best thing about this location was the gas station that was within walking distance.

This was one of the only hotels available because so many people evacuated to Texas for Hurricane Ida, us included. The first night the hotel was $130. I booked a room with 2 queen beds and was given a room with 1 king bed. I was told the hotel was overbooked and that was all they had left to offer me. This hotel was nowhere near worth $130 a night, but there was cable and a/c. The next day we decided to stay another night, the price of the hotel on the website was $104 and on another booking site, the price was $91. I showed the person at the desk both of those prices and he insisted it was a different hotel, it wasn’t. We ended up staying for 3 more nights at the rate if $130 due to not being able to return home at the time. On the day I told the guy at the desk we were leaving, he told us the price of the room all of a sudden went down to $90 😒 Perfect timing right? I don’t recommend this hotel, unless you’re in need of an emergency stay.

It was in a convenient location and they accepted pets. But, they were unclear about the pet fee. When I called in they said the would charge $25 for a pet fee. I told the person on the phone we had two pets. They said that was fine it would only be $25.00. When at the hotel they told us it was 25 each and became very argumentative about it. First of all this is normally a $62 dollar hotel. They already upcharged due to it being an event weekend and then want to double the pet fee. This is being greedy for a hotel that is not in good shape at all.

Terrible place would not recommend to anyone.

The mattresses in this place are terrible. Front clerks didn’t know how to operate the computer system. Won’t be coming to stay at this place ever again.

This hotel is in obvious remodel mode. Towel bar literally falling off the wall and the same goes with the shower rod. It had busted wall plates and the mattress box springs were very old. The bathroom door didn't latch close. With four stars I expected a little more, and I'm truly not hard to please. I will not stay at another Palace Inn again.

Well, they had no do not disturb for the room and apparently did night cleaning. They were as thorough as they were discreet and almost unnoticed. The room was exactly matching the star rating.

I won’t be going back to this hotel. Bad experience with cleanliness. The bed was filthy with hairs and sheets weren’t clean, the towels in bathroom had grease on them, and the room smelled of smoke. The remote for TV didn’t function and they had a tv sitting in front of a broken tv that was hanging on wall. I’m not sure what was going on at this hotel but it needs a lot of work.
