Good standard hotell - priceworthy

Really great hotell close to communication. Historical places close by and it fitted my needs perfectly. Great breakfast. Just remember to ask for the scrambled eggs and bacon! :)

Family trip

We are a couple with a 2-year old boy. The room size was great, located on a second floor (elevator available). Best part of the hotel is the high roofs , which makes the room feel even bigger than it is. Bathroom size was also above standard. Staff was also kind to give us a crib for our boy (call in advance). Only down side is no restaurant available in the hotel, but there are a some restaurants nearby opened until 11pm. The neighborhood is very quiet and residential.

good value

The hotel provides a substantial value for many, is closely located to the congress center and any kind of public transport (10 min walk). Although the rooms might have come to an age, it was all clean, quiet and functional. Car parking in the basement was easy. Very friendly stuff. I did not took the breakfast, so I cannot comment on this. I will there return next year for an upcoming conference.

The wooden floor makes a lot of noise or the isolation of my room was terrible. Thus, when the staff or people were passing by the corridors/other rooms I could clearly hear it from the bedroom. I woke up around 6AM for the 2 days I stayed in this hotel and the noise was continuous so I couldn’t go back to sleep.

It is in a quiet area of Hamburg University within walking distance to downtown and museums, but not too close. Takes 15-20 min walk, 30 min to central station but there are subway options. The design is minimalistic. The bed was positive very weirdly and the Tav was on a side of the bed, so you have to really strain your neck if you want to watch TV. The ceiling is high. The bed was OK, but not super comfortable. I guess it is in all euro 3 star hotels. The pillow is small too. Overall it is OK to stay for one night.

Greit hotell i fin gate

Bra beliggenheten ift T-bane og buss muligheter til sentrum og flyplassen. Taxi til flyplassen fra hotellet koster rundt 30 Euro. Frokost kostet 19 EUR pr person, og var helt ok men ikke noe mer til den prisen. Vi var der en helg og det var en del støy fra gaten/trafikk på fredagskvelden. Ikke aircondition så måtte ha oppe vinduene. Ellers hyggelige og hjelpsomme i resepsjonen.

Das personalist sehr freundlich und die Zimmer sind einfach aber schön sauber. Es ist ein älteres Haus, aber alles schön erhalten und die Zimmer neu gestrichen. Die Flure sind zwar etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber der Preis ist unschlagbar für diese wunderschöne Lage.

Gammel modigt hotel, fint och rent. Ingen cromecast på TVn. Fick fråga om att få en vattenkokare på rummet och det gick bra. Lite klaustrofobisk att rummet hade gammaldags nyckel och den inte altid var lätt att låsa upp, när man skulle ut från rummet. Fint kvarter och vänligt personal.

Leider war mein Aufenthalt im Hotel Vorbach nicht so wie ich es von einem vernünftigen Hotel erwarten würde, ich werde hier definitiv nicht noch einmal hinkommen. Die Toilette und die Wand neben der Klopapierrolle waren bei der Ankunft von außen grob verschmutzt, das Zimmer 601 in dem ich war, war dringend renovierungsbedürftig, und ich habe mich bei meiner Ankunft nicht willkommen gefühlt. Als ich nach dem Check-In am Freitag gegen 8.30 morgens und einem langen Tagungstag in einem anderen Hotel abends zurückkam, waren die Verschmutzungen noch nicht behoben worden. Zusätzlich ist das Fenster in dem Zimmer ziemlich in die Jahre gekommen und nicht winddicht, und ich habe die ganze Nacht von dort Zug abbekommen, weshalb ich nachts mehrmals aufgewacht bin und morgens mit einer laufenden Nase aufgewacht bin. Der Teppichboden in dem Zimmer scheint ziemlich in die Jahre gekommen zu sein, und wellt sich an der Grenze zum Bad nach oben. Der Lampenschirm auf dem Nachttisch neben dem Bett hatte Kuli oder Tintenflecken. Der einzige Lichtblick war die andere Rezeptionistin, die am Freitag Abend sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend war. Summa summarum leider eine sehr enttäuschende Erfahrung. Ich war wirklich schon in sehr vielen Hotels in vielen Ländern, aber so eine schlechte Erfahrung hatte ich bis jetzt tatsächlich noch nie.

Das Zimmer war immer sehr sauber, aufmerksam beim Wechsel der u.a.Toilettenartikel, Bettwäsche usw.. Die Papierkörbe wurden regelmässig entleert. Ein Hinweis zum Fernseher, bitte die jeweiligen Kanäle notieren ein Sender-Zettel hinterlegen. Für die einfache Einrichtung fand ich den Zimmerpreis etwas erhöht, zumal die Länge des Aufenhaltes mit berücksichtigt werden müsste. Als sehr gut empfand ich die kostenlose Tresorbenutzung.

Die Dame am Empfang war am Tag unserer Ankunft ausgesprochen unfreundlich. Das gilt allerdings nicht generell! Nach der ersten Nacht wurde das Zimmer nicht aufgeräumt. Keine frischen Handtücher. Die Lage ist Spitze, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants in der Nähe, die Umgebung ist ruhig und gepflegt. Bei unserem Aufenthalt wenige Tage später, durch Direktbuchung, klappte der Service besser.

Ottima posizione in una zona molto tranquilla. Il personale è cortese e le camere sono spaziose e accoglienti. Dispone anche di parcheggio privato coperto al costo di €16 per notte, da prenotare in anticipo. Uniche note negative la moquette che sembra sporca e il rumore nelle camere, si sente qualsiasi cosa facciano gli ospiti nelle camere adiacenti.

Ich Fand es perfekt. Bin erst seh spät gekommen. Da die Rezeption 24/7 besetzt war kein Problem. Habe jedes Mal sofort geantwortet, wenn ich sie kontaktierelt habe. Konnt spontan das Frühstück dazubuchen.
