The beach cabin we stayed in was sufficiently furnished and had a small kitchen with microwave, cooktop and fridge. Air conditioning and a sliding glass door to the outside for good ventilation. It was spacious enough to enjoy the beach vibe of this campsite/cabins retreat. There are few walking paths to the beach and onsite hamburger cafe, bar and pizza cafe. Also a small convenience shop that served coffees and limited groceries. It was located close to the town to walk to and to Cathedral Coves Kayaking.

We arrived at Hahei in the middle of a horrendous storm. Checkin was straight forward as was finding our garden view appartment. The accomodation was all a little dated, but none the less was well equiped, had everything you need, was clean and comfortable. We ate and drank at the Deck (on site food place/bar) for the 2 evenings we were there. The pizzas (gluten free bases available) and fish n chips we ate were great. The site is right on a fantastic beach and there are some good walks to explore. The weather unfortunately did impact our short stay as some roads were shut due to flooding. Thankfully, floods resinded and normal travel resumed intime for us to move onto our next destination.

Beachfront villa - great position. Views spectacular, all possible facilities covered. We arrived slightly after the reception hours and had a small issue as our key wasn't left but it was sorted immediately after a quick call - really friendly and helpful staff!

Our room was clean spacious with easy access to the beach. Bed was comfy but a queen or king bed would've been better. Overall our stay was wonderful. We tried out the kayak to Cathedral cove, that was fun.

Camping in a really lovely setting, next to the beach. The camp site is a low-key place with a central court with a playground and stalls serving tasty burgers and pizzas. There are different forms of accommodation, from simple tent areas, camper vans, little cabins to ocean front villas. The cabins are basic, but adequate. Numbers 1-7 and 8-9 are each joined together with a footpath, so little privacy and some noise, especially if your neighbours (like ours were) are groups of school kids.
