The property was very clean and tidy and had everything available which was needed like microwave, refrigerator toaster, kettle and hair dryer.overall good option for a long stay.
Pros: Super clean room, easily accessible, comfortable bed, very safe, quiet, bathroom was big and roomy, fridge, microwave etc…
Cons: no AC, gets very hot at night even with windows open, will require a car
The hotel and the room looks modern and inviting. The check-in/checkout process is high tech. But, the biggest issue is that there is no service staff available at the hotel to help. Our main concern was cleanliness. The bedding sheets and pillow covers hadn't been replaced and were dirty. When I messaged the hotel support through the Expedia app chat, they responded.. but it was all about check here.. check there for new sheets. But, there was no new replacement sheets in the room closet nor in the hallway closet they asked me to check on. They didn't check back with me also on it. In my opinion, we pay a premium to stay at a hotel like this mainly for its service and cleanliness. With no service readily available, it makes no sense to stay in a hotel like this. I would not stay in this hotel again nor would recommend.
This was a great value, as hotels in Iceland are typically expensive. The room is not big, but it worked for four of us for one night. We just needed a clean place to shower and sleep. I had trouble figuring out the pull-out bed (you have to pull from the top of the sofa). I messaged the host and the host replied within a couple of minutes with a link to a video demonstrating how to pull out the bed. For a pull-out bed, it was quite comfortable. If you have a group of four, I wouldn't recommend it for more than one or two nights because it isn't that big. But it worked well for us, and it was an easy 30-minute drive to Keflavik airport in the morning. Again, it was a great value for what we paid, and it met our needs.
