"The view was absolutely amazing, but unfortunately the hotel booster pump was directly above our room, & could hear it running all night. The booster pump noise was completed by the smell of the septic tank coming through the bathroom vent, adding to the negative experience of the hotel. The hard mattress and the lack of bedding was the icing on the cake. You’ll probably want to find different accommodation. "

The rooms are clean, contemporary, and very comfortable, and the food offers a fresh take on traditional dishes. What really makes the stay special is the staff — they are incredibly friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. Although the hotel is just a short 5-minute tuk-tuk drive from the centre of Ella, it feels peacefully tucked away in nature. It’s the perfect spot if you want to enjoy the stunning scenery of Sri Lanka while still being conveniently close to the town. A beautiful and relaxing place to stay that I would highly recommend."

"The room was nice and clean and the staff were really helpful and friendly. The only real downside was the location which was up at the top of a very steep road which a lot less accessible than portrayed. However, the views from the property were amazing and it was nice to be away from the crazy traffic and noise of Ella town. "
