Friendly staff and ideal for a quick stopover. Room was clean with a nice hot shower. Just beware the rail tracks are just across the road, and freight trains run through the night, which were nosy.

I had work in Gull Lake so I booked in. Not is not the Ritz, BUT! Super clean room, super friendly staff (Summer is a cool guy) and it is very economical. It is old, yes, but a great stay. Also note the train tracks are about 150 yards away..but hey...I love trains. Will stay there EVERY time I am in that area

I loved the atmosphere. Everyone talked to everyone. Very friendly. Chairs outside of the rooms to sit and enjoy the view. 11/10 for the shower. That was an amazing shower! Would stay here again and do recommended to all!

Pros. Clean sheets. Bathroom appeared cleanish. Cons. Did not want to touch anything in kitchen area, everything seemed dirty, no soap, cloth by sink was wet when we arrived. Spider webs scattered throughout. Floor was dirty. Comforter seemed dirty. Would have left but had no other option. Will not stay again.

I rarely leave a review but every now and then I'm surprised by great service and a great stay. I was on a motorcycle trip from America on my way to Calgary when I realized it was getting late and needed a last-minute place to stay... not many options in the area. I must say that at first I was a bit skeptical but boy I sure was wrong as that one night turned into three nights! LOL. The room was clean and the bed was really comfortable. Nothing fancy but definitely a great value for the price... not to mentioned, the management was amazing, Summer is the person you deal with and he was there for anything I needed. He recommended places to eat (even shared some food with me when I was too tired to go out). Let me borrow some tools for some bike maintenance and he even gave me a hand when my dog was injured, you don't get genuine sevice like that at a Hilton! A truly amazing person. He came thru every time and one of the reasons I love Canada even more. Lol And that's PRICELESS!! My time here renewed me 100% and gave me the strength to keep trekking to Alaska. Make sure you stay and make a new friend. You will not be disappointed!! I will return!! A+

Was rebooked here by Expedia when my original reservation wasn't able to be honored. I'm at a loss for words... Happy I had my own bedding with me at least.

Motel is in poor shape. There was a fowl odor in the room and the room was not set up as a hotel room. Mismatched beds and no bedside table. Mismatched towels and bedding. Room was poor. We left immediately and drove over 90 minutes to another hotel . Would never recommend

The room was horrible. Pictures on website were misleading. We lost the money and left. I wish them best of luck but this place was the worst I have seen after seven continents of travel. Whoever wrote better reviews must have received a better room. It did not appear there were better rooms though. Very worn, unkept, big exoskeletons on floor, rotted shower tub. We left and drove another hour and half.

The caretaker was very kind and accommodating. Even when I lost my wallet and took the day to be able to pay for a second night stay. I've had a fair amount of issues with hotel staff at other establishments being judgemental and treating me unfairly because I look young. But not here! He was very welcoming and didn't make us jump through hoops to prove we were able to afford to stay. While your reading this I'll share a tip don't EVER stay at the baymont in medicine hat. ABSOLUTELY the rudest most inconsiderate staff
