"newly renovated with updated sleek environment was a great surprise for a state park. Great pools with easy beach access and several great restaurants on site - no reason to leave. Friendly staff. Room clean and updated with high ceilings, comfortable bed and top of the line pillows ranks above anticipation. Easy onsite parking. Much more relaxing environment than that of a high rise. High recommendations. "

"Room clean, rust in shower. Faucet for the shower was half out and the handle wouldn’t stay in place. pool had so many leaves and bugs in it like it hadn’t been maintained in a few days. "

"Not so good. Bathroom area was disgustingly dirty. The bath mat had a huge, black foot stain on it. The bathroom sink was cracked and the faucet was not securely fastened to the sink. There was a huge stain on the ceiling above one of the queen beds in our room. The room was heavily scented with cleaning agents. We will not recommend this hotel."

"I've stayed at this location a number of times since it was remodeled in 2022. They have not kept up the maintenance as well as they should. The over all property (appearance) is good. The staff is nice. But my room a little "tired". The refrigerator struggled to keep a bottle of water cool while the AC struggled to keep the room cool. The Mattress was lacking. The only thing that kept me there was the $59 room rate and location. Will I stay there again ? More than likely yes for at least ONE more visit but time will tell. "
