"I was surprised but this Hilton looked like the oldest and most out dated of all the hotels along the beach. It was fine staying there but the balcony wasn’t very nice. The location is good. The staff was really friendly. I would pick a different hotel next time though but still compare prices."

"The beachfront view was amazing. For the price I expected a little nicer. Like more newer better updated maybe. Staff was friendly but when we used the chat feature in the app it took a long time for them to get to our room. Ice machine in our building was broke. They didn’t clean our rooms each day which I thought was odd. But it was ok we didn’t really need it. Front desk staff very friendly and helpful. Check in and check out was super easy. Love the bracelets they give as a key card. Same bracelet gets unlimited pool towels/beach towels. It was my friend and I. They had sections for adults only which was nice. But to be honest it looks like a great place for family with kids too. A lot to do on the property for kids during the day and adults in the evening."

Bourbon Orleans Hotel

"Upon arrival, valet was super busy so I'm glad we arrived prior to check in and the room was ready. Had to park on the road and walk back to tell valet we had been waiting about 20minutes and where the car was parked. Still had to ask for the doorman to help with a cart, not sure of they only had one but it seemed as such. Front desk ladies were both great. Over the course of our stay they both seemed to do a better job than the gentleman we encountered there. Gym and pool were nice to have and simple. The pool is beautifully decorated. A post card. The room was clean, they could do a better job with the doors and lower walls. It wasnt too bad that a good wipe down upon entering didnt fix it but it did make me wonder about the rug in the room. Daily housekeeping was great and a welcomed surprise. The balcony was also nice for the evening just too peek but if you are soft sleeper, you will want a non balcony room. There are no umbrellas available if it rains, so pack on just in case. They do sell ponchos. The road also gets blocked off at night so rideshare can be difficult but location of the hotel is excellent for walking to French Street, market, canal street, street car. I was later told this is the hotel where a popular show is filmed. I don't watch the show but my husband and daughter recognized. All in all for the area, it is a fairly maintained property and being on the edge of the quarter is helpful."
