View was beautiful from our room, restaurants were delicious, staff was friendly and attentive, grounds and rooms were very clean. It was a 2 hour ride from the airport. Entertainment could use some work, the night life there wasn’t much to do.

Had a wonderful stay. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was cleaned and maintained daily. Food was great. The elevator our building was temporarily out of service, but a minor inconvenience on an overall great stay.

My room could've been more welcoming with a signature scent. There was a bit of a smell. Overall the resort staff are pleasant but I do think that they could maintain grounds keeping a bit more. The buffet and restaurants were fairly decent and the bars were great. Overall I had a good experience.

The actual island and property is beautiful itself. But the staff and service is HORRIBLE!!! The food was fine depending on the day . I waited 5hours for a blow dryer . Our cleaning lady didn’t show up for a day , even after I called the front desk . No one greeted you . It was one staff member that was really nice in the dining room . We waited for over 1hr just to get in to the room ..

Room was not cleaned well, and poorly maintained. Overall staff were careless and they were not organized well. Breakfast at the buffet was not so good because of poor choices and food was not tasty, and most of the staff were not too friendly. Beach view was very far away. Beach was poorly maintained, beach chairs had old, broken and dirty cushions. Entertaining was poor and not so interesting. This resort is very far away (2 hours drive) from international airport.

We loved the staff! Recommend the ferry or helicopter transfer to and from the airport, the ride is one and a half to two hours by car and the roads are narrow and very curvy. The resort is a little dated but well maintained and clean, renovations are underway however. Be mindful if booking through a third party you may not get the room type you requested. We requested a king and got a double queen and although it was off season the resort would change the room type. All in all a very good stay.

Overall great experience! The rooms could benefit from a deep cleaning after years. You can see that staff does a good job of daily cleanings but, you can also see years of build up of dust one dirt in some areas, However, staff is friendly, attentive and the nightly shows are fun! The food was good, wish they included my cultural options daily. The restaurants were also a good option for food. I would definitely return!

The resort was beautiful, and I loved the swim-out pool from my room. The buffet was okay, but there weren't many food options. The restaurants you need to make reservations which was okay. The pools need more music and more time. But overall is was beautiful.

The staff were friendly and very attentive. If you need anything for your room just pick up the phone and ask and it will be delivered promptly. The pool bars close at 6pm and the water is warm. Food truck is a great alternative for lunch and they have daily specials but the jerk chicken was my favorite. Booking with Expedia gives you extra benefits like breakfast at Grazie. I highly recommend getting a swim out room as that was the highlight of our stay. And lastly, keep the fan on in your room so the mosquitos leave you alone!

The only things that I did not like were: 1. Constant pressure to go on their excursions. 2. Martini Bar was being built and coffee bar was being built. I would have enjoyed those options but instead had limited basic coffee choices. I appreciated: 1. Entertainment. Country singer was my favorite. Silent DJ was fun too. 2. Included restaurants were all good. The local food restaurant and the Hibachi were our fav. 3. Buffet was the best of any all inclusive I have had on similar trips (Jamaica, DR). Most importantly - be prepared for the 1.5 hour ride from the airport to the hotel. We enjoyed seeing the island on the ride which is the entire island. Airport on south east end and hotel on the north west end. We booked this round trip ride in advance with barefoot.

Dislikes: Room Dated, Poorly maintained,Tub was not functional and broken , showers was not clean and clogged floor drains Bed were worn and uncomfortable Safe was dilapidated with soiled numbers and not legible Food was not up to 4or 5 star quality and the desert was not good at all The resturant was 2-3star quality and was very disappointed. Will not visit Royalton ever again... Price paid for All inclusive was not worth it...
