Know this review doesn’t matter as tomorrow is the last day they are open. However, it was disappointing to have a sold out hotel and have signs on all the pop machines saying out of order as well as the fully stocked snack machines. Additionally, we found we had no hot water this morning! Nothing like a cold shower to leave a customer walking out of a once awesome hotel knowing it is really a good thing they are closing! Hope someone buys the place and can afford the millions to repair and update the place and it doesn’t end up condos!

This is about the 5th time we've been to the Heidel House in almost every season from New Year's Eve to spring and fall. We had hoped in a few years to have a family reunion, but also we've heard it's closing. We can't believe on one can keep this great property going by some cutbacks, such as closing older houses on the property. This place is a treasure and of course we wish the staff the Best! We do not want to see condos on this property! So hope someone realizes what a gift it is especially the hotel and Sunroom and even the spa - Evensong which I absolutely go to every time. Maybe the present management or someone new will realize what a gift this has been or can be! Thank you Cynthia Crebbin

The pool area was nice. The rooms were clean and nice. However, many exterior doors were not secured. Also, the condition of the facility seems to be deteriorating with a lack of attention to detail. Last, we requested an Americano coffee when leaving, but the cafe attendant stated she did not know how to make an Americano (which was on the menu). We left without coffee. The hotel could at least have a carafe of complimentary coffee available for guests.

It’s a beautiful place and has a lot of amenities but it hasn’t been maintained very well. No one cleaned our room when we were there for 3 days. We had to ask at the desk for supplies and for our garbage to be emptied

I stayed for 3 nights with my sister and we had a wonderful time. The room was quiet, clean and easily accessable. We spent two days at Evensong Spa and I can't express enough how wonderful it was. High end spa with all of the ammenities.

Great resort, rooms were very clean and spacious. Bathrooms were very large and very clean. Hotel concierge was friendly and check in was very fast! Lots of very neat history at this resort! My only complaint was the Boathouse Pub, we waited 15 minutes for service and were never acknowledged so we ate in Downtown Green Lake. Would definatley come back and stay here again though!
