The staff was kind and helpful. The hotel itself was very run down, rooms were musty smelling, paint peeling, tub peeling, bed were a doule maybe a full size definitely not queen. There were a bunch of the rooms that had people living there, that were very sketchy. I didnt feel the safest, went straight from the car to the locked room with my kids. We left early, I didn't even try for a refund, get what you pay for I guess, it was decently priced.
From the outside looks kind of questionable but the room was very clean well kept. Very pleased the manager said they're currently renovating all the rooms. Price was decent also. Would definitely stay there again. Only thing have to have cash for deposit and when checking out have to wait for them to check the room before they return your deposit other than that was very pleased
The room was very clean, they required a $60 cash deposit which was odd. They had not received payment from Hotels.com even though I had paid on the web site so I had to pay again. The room was very spartan but the price was very affordable. So if money is a concern it was a good deal, if comfort a concern then not so good. But the room was very clean.
Great location and super staff. Everything I needed! I was worried about trying this hotel since not a chain but it has good ratings. This hotel earned my business and I will use this hotel whenever in the area.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
I liked that it seemed like a family business trying to provide renovated, clean, safe place to stay at a more affordable price.
They asked for a deposit and other signs posted that made it feel like an unsafe place to stay. The front office still has covid protection shields up.
I woke up covered in spider bites, the room didn't have the remote for the tv, somewhat inconvenient that their office and breakfast don't open until 7am because we were awake earlier and wanted to leave (and wanted to get our surprise cash deposit back), we ended up not eating their breakfast because of how late it started and we already managed to find breakfast elsewhere. The only nice experience was the number of places to eat around.

My flight was late to arrive. I read that the office closed at 12 AM, so I drove as fast as possible and arrived at 11:50 PM and got chewed out by the desk clerk. She was pretty rude at first but, calmed down after I offered to find another hotel. The room was fairly clean but, needed some repairs. The bed was comfy and it was quiet. I won't stay again but, if you're looking save a few bucks this place is an OK option.

It was just a quick trip and a cheap place to stay. It was average. We didn’t have any issues except when it came time to check out. We had to leave a $60 deposit and it had to be in cash. We informed the girl that checked us in that we had a flight to catch so we would be leaving early and she assured us someone would be in the office. That was not true. We were unable to get our deposit back because we had to leave for the airport. I called all morning and afternoon and finally talked to someone who told me I had to come back and pick up the deposit. I live in Michigan! They said they would return the money on the card that I used to pay for the room, but I haven’t gotten it yet so I guess we’ll see how that goes. Other than that everything was fine.
The staff was wonderful, no complaints about them. When we checked in I asked if there was a room available on the upper second floor because I was light sleeper and hearing someone above me woke me up a lot. She was very gracious and got us room number 204. To begin my review, there are patio type ashtrays outside of just about every other room (the two-story motel has outside entrances) and many people standing at them smoking. We rented the room in late october, but the room was very warm. The wall control unit was switched on to AC and the temperature dial had been spun down to 60. Regardless, the room was uncomfortably warm. That unit had another door with large windows that led to a deck that seemed to serve four rooms. The door had a very old and wobbly keyed lock, for which there was no key for because the entry door is a card key. The only other lock was the thumb lock on the door handle. It seems that even a slight shoulder bump from outside would open the door if it were locked. The door and windows were very poorly sealed, with daylight showing around much of the door frame. The traffic noise that night was very loud and sounded like it was right in the room. Another issue with the room was a cable that had been drilled through the outside wall and haphazardly stapled to the wall to supply cable to the tv. Staples had come loose and the wire was just loose on the floor. Lastly, the people on the front door was missing and a napkin rolled up and shoved in
