"The staff are exceptional. Polite, knowledgeable, helpful but not intrusive. I did not try the breakfast as there were many bad reviews on this. Room was very clean. As others have noted, the room could use an update. The bathroom fixtures have the finish worn off, the wardrobe had many scratches of wear as did the table and side tables. The fridge built up with water and was unusable. I read the reviews about the noise from rooms above and thought there was just bad luck or extra noisy...

"Avoid! Club Quarters Hotel Covent Garden / Holborn. We had no advance notice there would be disruptive work on the hotel and found the lobby was half closed for various work in rooms and the floors. I asked if the drilling or hammering would stop on Saturday and Sunday. We were assured by the man on the front desk that was the case. But the noise started at from 8:30am on Saturday. The walls are paper thin, anyway, and you can hear your neighbour quite easily. in fact, the room was just weird....
