It’s centrally located with Tesco Express within a minute of walk. There are restaurants at the Main Street which are also within 10 minutes of walk. Parking on- street is easy and no restrictions after 6pm and before 9am. An hour parking with no return within one hour is allowed during the period of 9am and 6pm. The host is very nice and very friendly. We were warmly welcomed and felt very comfortable during the stay. The room we stayed was very clean, spacious with all the amenities we needed. It’s well covered by high speed WiFi. The breakfast including the breads was excellent.

A lovely 2 day stay

Very welcoming, friendly, efficient, comfortable bed, good sized room, excellent breakfast options, accommodating (I needed an early breakfast), accessible for food shopping, plenty of restaurants etc nearby. A lovely 2 day stay.

Spent an enjoyable 3 night stay, Geraldine and her staff were very helpful and friendly. Lovely room spotlessly clean with everything you need and comfy beds. Good choice for breakfast all freshly cooked. Would stay again if visiting the area.

The B&B was lovely nice and bright and clean, it was handy for shops and eating places. The only thing we didn't like was no cooked full English breakfast, but there were a few other choices. It wouldn't put us off staying there again, we are hoping to do soon.

Lovely room in a nice spot close to town. Geraldine the owner was so welcoming we felt really at home! Nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast excellent. Somerset House is near enough to walk to seaside and promenade and close to station for days out. Would recommend for a pleasant short break :-)

Stayed 3 nights at Somerset House with the dog. We were made to feel very welcome on our arrival, and all our needs were met during our stay, including breakfast in our room. The B&B was lovely and homely and a great location for visiting the local area, and neighbouring towns. The promenade and the park were within walking distance, and were great spaces for exercising the dog. We have had a fantastic weekend, and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you

Nothing to criticise - lovely hotel

A lovely hotel. Great value. David and Geraldine are extremely kind and welcoming. Room large and clean with plenty of tea and coffee. Breakfast well cooked. Very accommodating of our bikes. A perfect hotel, thank you.
