"This location is a bus ride From the center of Lucerne. Not terrible but keep it in mind if you have luggage. It is close to the bottom of the Pilatus lift, so that’s an advantage. "We had a wonderful stay at the Lakeview studio during our recent stay in Switzerland. The view looking out the windows of the apartment was absolutely stunning. The apartment had a great list of amenities, the kitchen was very well stocked. Although we were surprised at the absence of a microwave oven. We are a couple of senior citizens. It was a bit of a challenge to get from the car park to the apartment building, there were three sets of stairs going from the car park into the apartment...

"Great view location above Lake Lucerne with easy access to old town center and train station approx 10 to 15 minute walk. Hotel gives a free transit pass for the central core during your stay. Old world class hotel, excellent breakfast (extra but worth it). Only downside is there is no central air conditioning but have portable air conditioners in the rooms."
