Great lodge feeling. Room was small and cozy. With three of us plus our dog inside it was a little difficult to have dinner (due to C-19 you have to eat in your room). Only thing I did not like was there was hair on the shower walls. Gross! I had to wash it down before I got in to shower.
Wonderful old Lodge. Old and rustic tons of character. There was a mix up with our booking and they upgraded us to the Rosevelt Room!! That was awesome!! Food was amazing!! Definitely would stay again and again.
A great lodge, we were there in stormy weather and enjoyed it immensely. Staff are incredible and really great! A fantastic lodge with such a wonderful history being built by the WPA. Our room was tremendous and fun to have a fireplace with plenty of wood. Beds very nice and we will return!!
Absolutely beautiful historic lodge. We were not impressed with the meal we had and less impressed with the price of the meal, we understand it’s a fancy ski lodge and expected to pay more for the meal but we did not get a meal that was worthy of the price. But the service was excellent. The entire lodge staff was excellent. The room was super cozy it’s a historic hotel so yes the walls are thin and the floors are creaky but they provide earplugs for sleeping and strongly enforce their quiet hours. We had no trouble sleeping without earplugs. The character of this lodge is absolutely breathtaking. When we stay again we will drive in town to eat but we would stay here again without question.
We love the historic nature of this lodge. The night we stayed it was a blustery and snowy October night. And the lodge was cozy with fires burning and a warm staff. Dinner at the lodge was a real treat.
The front desk guy who I missed his name was very good to call me with my direct question that I had sent on hotels.com and was helpful on locating places that I need to hit before coming to the hotel. Though dog friendly and at no charge, no real dog areas and very busy street.
The location on Mount Hood is fantastic, the architecture is fantastic, the accommodations are fair, and the atmosphere is amazing. Highly recommend a.stay at Timberline.

Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
The historical building barely compensated for the high price and minimal comfort. I’ve never slept on a comforter on a soft box spring before. The plumbing groaned and the electric seemed unsteady. If this was a winter visit I wouldn’t be so critical as the snowy winter land would have absorbed the stark amenities.
it was a historic lodge, very clean, and kind.
it was very good

Disliked: Amenities
Well it’s a 100 year old masterpiece with amazing history. And well... because it’s 100 years old you can hear everything. Nothing is private. And the pool was closed which I wish was published before I booked the room. Disappointed kids made the stay more challenging for sure.
Incredible! Mikey and Liz are the best! Everyone went out of their way, and with the current situation...it meant even more. My daughter and I had a perfect stay, and cant wait to come back. Thank you all so much for everything. See you soon!
I was really excited to stay here. We got a king room and it was large. There happened to be a snow storm while we were there. Internet went out and so did the heat. We were not given enough wood to keep us warm. Woke up constantly because of the cold. In the morning light there was snow on the inside of the window, wall and couch. Another set back is there isn’t a lot of food options. The food was yummy though
Amenities ok but the experience is always worth it
Room was as advertised and s expected. We were hoping for "hot" to help relax before next morning's hike up there mountain. Not hot not cold but disappointing. No hot water in shower at 10:30 at night. Beds were comfortable. Hot shower in the morning yay. Buffet breakfast was very good and reasonably priced. We've stayed here before and we'll stay here again. The lodge is pretty amazing structure worse and historically.
