Welcome to Lil` Blue Surf Shack, a charming and cozy beach retreat on Aldam Ave, Goolwa Beach. Perfect for young families or couples to enjoy time away together. This updated 1950`s original features three bedrooms, a freshly renovated bathroom, a funky vintage kitchen, and a huge fully fenced yard. Enjoy walking to the beach or driving along the sand to the mouth of the Murray River for a unique coastal experience.

Experience the laid-back charm of Lil` Blue Surf Shack, a delightful holiday rental located within walking distance of Goolwa Beach. Perfect for young families, this home has everything you need for a relaxing escape. With three comfortable bedrooms—two with queen beds and one with a tri-bunk (double bed below and single above)—the house sleeps up to seven guests. All bed linen and bathroom towels are provided but please bring your own beach towels.
The freshly renovated bathroom and separate toilet add a modern touch, while the vintage original 1950s kitchen is both functional and full of character. Original polished timber floors and a slow combustion fireplace ensure cozy vibes, especially during cooler months. Outside, the huge fully fenced yard provides a safe space for children and dogs to play freely.
The beach is just a short stroll away, and adventurers will love the opportunity to take their 4WD onto the sand and drive along the beach to the mouth of the iconic Murray River.
While staying at Lil` Blue Surf Shack, explore the local area with its array of activities and dining options. Nearby, you’ll find Kuti Shack and Café Bombora, both known for their fresh, local flavors, or venture into Goolwa town to enjoy charming cafés and bakeries. Please note that one well behaved dog is welcome on holiday with you but a pet fee of $75 will be payable separate to your booking.

*Please note: A 50% deposit is required upon booking confirmation, with the remaining balance due 7 days before your stay. Additionally, a pre-check-in form must be completed before arrival, which includes submitting a valid ID, a selfie, and agreeing to our terms and conditions.

Please treat the our home as if it were your own. Kindly leave the property in a tidy condition upon departure. Unexpected additional cleaning cost will be forwarded to you.

$200AUD cleaning/deodorising fee charged if guest is found to have been smoking in the property.

CHECK OUT: Check out strictly at 10AM. Additional charges will be incurred for our cleaners time if not vacant upon their arrival. We charge $30AUD for the first 30 minutes, and $60AUD for every 30-minutes after this.

LOST KEYS/LOCKOUTS: Please keep the property key with you all the time during your stay. Lost key/emergency key delivery charges will be $180AUD plus key replacement fee or cost of a locksmith.

LOST PROPERTY: For any items left behind - the host will hold the item for a maximum of 30 days from check-out date after which time they will be considered abandoned and disposed of or donated. During the 30 day collection period, collection can be arranged by way of the guest providing a prepaid postage bag to a supplied address or the item can be collected in person at an agreed time and location.
